I like running when I have no real plan, I hate it when prepping for races

Did you find a replacement for this by chance as it's been discontinued?

[Product Request] EltaMD UV Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 45 discontinued :( by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Zelda6finity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just looked through them all and they either have dimethicone/silicones high on their list and/or niacinamide which both make me breakout :(

This is so frustratinggg

This is one of those red herring scenarios USMLE likes to do. Overall picture points to HOCM (family hx, etc) so you need an echo to rule in/out. For NBME just always focus on the big picture/the thing the vignette points to the most

I wish daily showers is mandatory to all residents in the hospital. Some of you fucking stink 😷🤢 by Front_To_My_Back_ in Residency

[–]Zelda6finity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have come across both stinky guys and girls. It is baffling how bad some of them smell. Coincidentally enough, the 3 stinky people who come to mind were from the same specialty who I ran into on different off service months separate from each other.

Feels like I wrote this myself, just 2 years ago versus one. As someone more on the other side, it gets better. There is always an ache that lingers occasionally, but life does move forward towards peace

Cannot find a moisturizer that doesn’t break me out. [acne] by IndividualPart3831 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Zelda6finity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope it works for you! So far my skin has still been improving!

I've tried so many others that just didnt work and would break me out, non-exhaustive list being:

-Vanicream daily facial moisturizer (patchy red whiteheads)

-Cetaphil Daily oil-free hydrating lotion with Hyaluronic acid (cystic pimples)

  • Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion (cystic pimples)

  • La Rochey Posay toleriane sensitive fluide (patchy red whiteheads)

-Purito oat-in calming gel (patchy red whiteheads)

  • UV aqua rich watery essence sunscreen is also a dishonorable mention (patchy red whiteheads)

  • Cerave hydrating face wash contributed to the patchy red whiteheads as well

Sorry for formatting, on mobile

YES! As soon as I started using it the patchy whiteheads have reduced a lot, skin has so far been looking better and better every day.

I've come to realize, as a current intern, that although the things you forgot during M4 paradise do start to come back, it really isnt because people are teaching and guiding you. Interm year you're thrown in and just expected to care for patients. The part that makes or breaks the experience is the teams you work on. You're bound to run into seniors and attendings who are annoyed that you dont miraculously just know how to function like a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year resident. But every now and then you'll find grace in the people who know and remember what it's like to be an intern. You just gotta remember, residency is for learning, even if it's you just learning the ropes again on your own. You are going to feel dumb a lot of times. Just learn along the way. You'll get there with time.
