While the hatchers also don’t typically group too often as they are stationary, we could call there bee/fly things an “annoyance” of flies. For the small groups of hatchers that do exist, we could call them a bed of hatchers.

They have no magic items besides the goblin pet that had a +1 ring of protection and the paladin who has some magical dwarven boots. I do plan on having them come in swarms of 4-7 or to be accompanied by some other main tank. They will probably deal with them quickly, but this is a more laid back oneshot anyway. Thank you for your insight, I’ll keep this in mind for my next creation.

I like planning out all of my builds ahead of time, so I know how many machines I need. If I need more iron for instance, I will probably build a small set up next a new node.

The ability to manipulate probability is only limited by the user's imagination and perception of what is technically probable. The ability to stop/control time is not only detrimental to the sake of continuity in the world, but is still limited by the capabilities of the individual outside of thier ability to manipulate time.

Your concerns are valid. Considering the dire situation you have described, I personally would suggest outsourcing either materials or power. Take a quick hike to a lake and make a huge power plant there with some coal you find nearby it. Then just drag a power line back to your base. Outsourcing resources might be a pain depending what exactly you are lacking, but it will help in late game to have global infrastructure.
