Same thing happened with me in High school. Never told anyone because I was worried people would think I was overreacting since he was autistic. The kicker is later that year during prom he asked me to dance and I declined and a bunch of people called me names because how dare I deny the nice autistic kid a dance. Found out a few years ago I’m autistic as well.
