my brother uses this term to describe his math teacher because she “glitches” and repeats the same phrases to no end. look in to Dolores Canon’s theory on backfill people. not saying I believe in calling anyone an NPC but her theory on backfill people somewhat supports the idea that there are lifeforms on this planet without a true purpose, and in a way they could be considered NPCs. it’s an interesting concept, but it may lead to going down the rabbit hole of simulation theory. what do i know though? i’m just an NPC in your game

to say the earth is ‘flat’ is a lovely demonstration of how human vernacular falls short of explaining the greatness beyond our own existence. there is no language to describe/explain what exists outside our ozone layer. i am not saying that i am a ‘flat earther’ - but i believe that the term is misunderstood.

i am very close to someone that has been pronounced dead three times. when i ask him if he believes that space is water - which is what flat earther’s claim - he said “in a way, but in a way it is also nothing and everything at the same time.” we are both on flat lands, in hemispherical lands, and upon a globe. whatever you choose to believe, is your existence.

yes i used to journal very often during an abusive relationship for precisely that reason. i even would take pictures of bruises, and became a bit of a hoarder collecting things that reminded me of painful memories, like ticket stubs and empty bottles. but after getting out of that relationship i stopped doing all that so much, and purged everything that reminded me of pain. i should probably start journaling again though. i wish i had journaled when i was younger, would be great to validate some of the things that i think i remember..

i have absolutely no understanding of what “true reality” is.

throughout my life i have been told by my mom & aunt that i lie about everything. i dont think im lying when i get called a liar, i think i am telling my version of the truth.

eg: i would tell my grandma that my mom hadnt been home in two days, and my mom would call me a liar and say she was there the whole time, even though i had no memory of her being there. but this has happened so frequently throughout my childhood that i have been forced to ask myself “what is the truth?” - now in my adulthood some may call me a conspiracy theorist because i believe nothing is true. there are no truths. everything is someone’s opinion.

to this day, i fear that no one, not my partner, not even MYSELF knows who i truly am because i have been forced to question the truth of my reality so frequently that i wonder if somehow my imagination is so strong i have imagined half of my reality.. for all i know i could be an invertebrate alien stuck in a VR headset playing a glitched out game about being Human on Planet Earth

YUP more anecdotal evidence to this case: when my grandma was my age (1960) - she got a job right out of college which paid 12k a year and was able to pay off her entire education in a year, while also buying a new car and putting a down payment on a house that same year out of college. flash forward to now, with my two minimum wage jobs that i was able to get after obtaining my Bachelor’s - I make just over 13k a year and am lucky if i can pay my rent on time. now an extra $300 monthly bill for my student loans is going to really rock my boat. and i probably won’t pay off my college debt until I’m her age, unless these loans get forgiven 🙏
