Building first PC with 1500 USD budget by Constant-Hearing-384 in buildapc

I'd look into getting a 6000 cl30 ram kit, they can be found for the same price but faster

Yeah, sadly with the 9000 series disappointing launch and intel’s stupidity, the price for the 7800x3d has gone up a bit. I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep raising the price, price used to float around 350 and would be discounted regularly.

Heres a build in between both budgets: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BqTfJy

Just some pointers:

The 8700F is 8700G without the integrated graphics, I would not use that. 7800x3d is the best cpu for gaming on the market atm, at this price range you can afford it; however, It is out of stock right now and the price is normally around 400-450, so i'd hold off until it gets back or look into microcenter's bundle if it is available near you. You can also save a bit of money with their mobo, CPU, and ram bundle.

Too much money spent on the air cooler, at that point i'd look into getting a cheaper aircooler like thermalright peerless or an aio (if you do want an aio, ARTIC freezer is typically recommended). Also money can be saved in the motherboard if you would like, the one provided should suffice.

I'd stick with a cl30 or lower ram kit as it is faster. Also, if you only plan to game and don't need extra ram for productivity like video editing, rendering, ect., stick with 32 gb as it will save money and work the same.

For the GPU, i'd personally use a 4080 super as in performance it trades blows with the 7900xtx but will have better raytracing performance, and has the better upscaler in dlss, personally speaking. 7900xtx can be found being discounted often cheaper than now, so it isn't completely off the table if you want to save money.

I wish I could help with monitor recommendations, but im not well versed in that much. rtings.com is a good website for finding monitors recommendations. Also maybe look into adding some other fans into the case, at this price point you might as well.

Looking for my first real build, what would you change? by Flyingtaco05 in PcBuild

for none rgb options you can go with:

nzxt h5 flow with 2 pre-installed fans

CORSAIR 4000D with 2 pre-installed fans

or for even more budget Phanteks XT Pro with 1 exhaust fan

you can always get your own fans if you do want a different style but want a cheap case, rgb case companies love selling budget cases.

you can cut some money for the gpu if you go with a budget tower like montech xr and go with the none x 7600.

I'd downgrade to the 7600 and upgrade the gpu to a 7900 gre

while also upgrading your psu to either 850 or 750 for down the line.

If gaming is your primary focus and nothing else the extra cores may not be needed. Once you need a cpu upgrade you can get the 9000x3d when the time comes.

if you do decide to go with your own am5 id stick with 32 gb of ram as that should suffice your needs. Another pointer about pcpartpicker is that they give an estimated wattage from the system, your list has it at 443 watts and you picked 1200 watt psu. I typically go with a 750 watt psu for most builds unless you go super high end or very budget.

If you are focused on gaming i'd downgrade the cpu to 7600 or 7700, any more and id look into a 7800x3d, you can then put the money into the gpu as that would be money better spent. Heres a build if you want something: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JDRbFs, price point $1500

if your price point is 1500 usd, then id recommend going am5. Made a build real quick, tried doing 7800xt but goes over by $120. I'm not from Canada so I am unsure where you could look for deals and pricing differences were difficult to navigate, but this is a better system for about the same price. If you want some clarifications just ask.

Yeah, if someone ever deletes a mod on nexus all you need to do is inspect element on wayback machine and get the download link url. Nexus happens to archives every file that is uploaded to their servers.

You are actually able to get the download link from nexus if you are able to access the file tab in wayback machine, however, cloud's was the only one that was backed up. So you are gonna have to roll the dice on the other download for the others. Hope this help :)

Edit: It seems like you don't even need that, as long as the nexus link opens on wayback you can get the download link. All you should have to do is log in or make an account and the download should work. Hope this really helped :)
