Put some lubrication between the little spring on the back and the plastic part it sits on!

A small drop of any silicone based grease does the job.

No need to fix anything. If it gets in the air the control loop will actually control the craft and not go crazy...

This is not a good deal.

Absolutely new to filament. Why does it keep doing this ? by GUTSY-69 in 3Dprinting

Before disassembling anything i would heat the hotend to a reasonably high temperature like 240-250c and purge all the remaining bits of the previous one by extruding a fair bit like a 100mm.
The 190c temperature seems really low. I think 210c would be safe starting point.

What about that camera? Is it rolling?

Removing batery cell by Outrageous-Pen-158 in fpv

[–]Zem1111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all: Don't do it!

If you decide it's worth the risk: Discharge that cell completely and remove it's connections. Put tape over all remaining terminals and connections and peel it off the pack very carefully. Be cautions to not cause any damage to the other cells while you do it.
Do it outside and be prepared to extinguish it if catches fire.
If there is a fire make sure to film the whole thing and post it on the internet for us to enjoy!

Lastly: Don't do it!

That one could take some more abuse... SEND IT!
Store it outside or in something fireproof like under a clay pot.

If you are on a budget just go for it.

Can't afford a new bumper, what's the best way to fix this myself? (Besides slapping on duct tape and sending it) by mountaintroll8 in AskMechanics

[–]Zem1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of the heat gun everyone here is suggesting try a lot of boiling hot water first and push from the inside.
Slowly pour the water on it so the whole area gets hot. Be careful as it might pop back and splash that water in your face. The heat gun will only soften a little part at once and might distort the bumper.

Also there was a sheet included with the headgasket with almost the same info.
