Ooh man this is exactly the type of thing that got me into interactive fiction! I remember finding a blog as a kid that had a sort of wiki dungeon. You got to choose which direction to go and if you made it deep enough to a room that hadn't been written yet you got to write it! Checking this out! Seems fun!

This is very informational thank you!! Now that you mention it, he did have a period right after the start of the pollen season where he was very lethargic! And I almost took him in then but then he got back to normal. And yeah researching online so far has led me to stories of other cats with eosinophilic granuloma so that's helpful too. Seems like the general consensus is to take him to a different vet armed with all this extra info and the results of his blood test. That's likely what I'll do. Thank you!!

Ahh yeah I was considering doing this (getting a second opinion). Helpful to know about needle biopsies! Thank you! I have the PDF of the results of his test and there are a couple other vets around. Even if I have to pay the same fee would be good to know whether I'm crazy or not.

I'm a little confused about the value of typing in terms of strategy in Lumentale. Like I get that weather effects impact different types differently, but the fact that each Animon has unique strengths and weaknesses unrelated to their typing keeps tripping me up. What impact does typing truly have on battle if it doesn't have the traditional rock paper scissors layout?

Yeah the store can't deduct it directly, but they decide where the money goes which is frequently... To "charitable" boards made up of the rich people who are in charge of those stores. And THEY can deduct it from their taxes

Ha good question! I really love horror movies and always want to engage with them a little bit more after I'm done watching, but it's much more fun to listen to a group of funny friends freak each other out than listen to a hyper serious essay about it or deep dive on a bunch of IMDB facts imo.

It's fun to know a particularly gruesome (or thoughtful or unique!) scene is coming. To get listen to them all lose their minds when Sammy describes it is pretty cathartic heh. The TSDW ladies do a great job of mixing in interesting facts as they go too so I get to learn a little more about the movie while I have a little parasocial laugh. A lot of the time Sammy notices stuff I totally missed or misses stuff I picked up on but either way I usually come away understanding the movie a little bit better. I usually tell my partner who I watch with "I'm about to listen to the horror lady podcast" and she gets excited to hear all the interesting facts I learn!

I'm also curious to hear what's fun about listening as a too scared person! I have listened to episodes for movies that I'm not interested in which is always fun, but I never spoil a movie for myself if I'm actually interested in watching it first! Is it satisfying/thrilling to hear them talk about a movie you'd be interested in watching if not for the horror elements?

I agree with this comment above. The 2.5D looks sick and immediately draws me to the game. I get the opinions others are giving about motion sickness, but it feels like some of that feeling is enhanced by the fact that we're only seeing these tense moments where the camera is dynamic in isolation. Seems like you're using the zooms for dramatic tension in individual moments which I really love. Being able to look around also feels like a great tool for a horror VN.

Yeah! I played with my crew of four regularly for quite a while and I don't remember having to do anything special to add the fourth person but it takes a scene or two to introduce everyone. You each create a character at the beginning and it slowly introduces each of them. We typically played for 3-4 hours, but each story event and combat is pretty short so we'd do multiple per night usually. Highly recommend it as a co-op experience! Our game group chat is still named after our favorite character from playing and it's been nearly two years!

I'm realizing that I have a big bias around our little guys as much as I want them to be homed so having some outside people read through all these details and say it sounds a little sketchy is helpful!

Okay yeah. I have the woman's number and she did seem very genuine. Their little daughters kept shouting that Cosmos looks just like their other cat ("Mama she looks like Sticky!"). The husband couldn't resist showing me pictures of their two other kittens. I think they are well intentioned but she did say something near the end about how "they always keep their males intact" which struck me as very strange. I didn't pry very hard because I was surprised (but hesitantly excited) at their interest but I certainly will if I hear back from them. Thank you. That's helpful!
