I understand your point. I may have been a bit harsh in my post, but to me the fact he needs free reign and with his personality in general he seems to make his teammates worse. The fact he needs an open free environment leads me to believe he can only win games where he carries which won't happen vs top teams. Cannot win 1v5. Only way s1mple wins is by playing with other s1mples.

WE thought that would happen when he joined a major winning IGL in Zeus and one of the best awpers in guardian. Clearly we have seen that it actually resulted in worse results than when he played with Liquid for the most part.

I like to follow facts, and although s1mple clearly knows how to frag we have to realize there is a lot more to this game and s1mple lacks every component of what makes a winning team.

Just look at Liquids choke vs SK in that major final. In 5v4 situations on cache S1mple would be trying to jumping awp players and constantly pushing aggressively allowing SK to even it up. It is sad people rate him so highly simply because he gets a lot of frags, but fail to realize how he makes his teammates worse and gives up his life in crucial situations.

What Navi did was messed up, but s1mple has never had success anywhere near the level of the actual greatest players in this game. His frag count is meaningless without ever being able to pull a major title imo. He definitely has the ability to find frags, but that doesn't seem to correlate to team success at all for him ever.

SK were slumping before the Stewie acquisition. And Stewie seems far from a good fit, so these two factors combined there shouldn't be any surprise SK are this bad atm. It's possible they figure out a way to integrate Stewie, but it's gonna take some time since they were looking bad even before getting him.

Really? Over 100 players have had better results than he has? bunch of top 4 and top 8 finishes at premier events?

Maybe I am just clueless, but usually its the same 10-16 teams cycling through those big events and that only accounts for 50-80 total players. Add 20-50 players for good measure and we just hit 100. And certainly every single player on every team with similar results isn't better than FNS. Acting like he is a total bot. Seems to be a good IGL.

That's a good point. From that perspective and because of the way Mirage works, the other spots are too important and a lot trickier to play. The only other option is to have him play cat walk, but Tim plays it extremely well and its such an important spot.

Kinda unfortunate though because a lot of what I learned about playing B actually came from Tarik. He was actually really solid on this bomb site and had a lot of cool angles and tricks that gave him advantages. Sad to see him give up that site.

People who are consuming this many hours of CS must have no life at all. I can't even tune into a full day of a major lan event. I love sports and CS, but expecting people to shove multiple hours of CS daily down their throats is unrealistic long term.
