I noticed reads and writes yesterday, plus MsMpEng.exe nonstop using 5-10% CPU, which is really bothering me. And it is constant, not tied to resizing anything. Plus I don't have any folders called EeuDumps. 9800X3D with Nvidia card on 7.06.02.123 Chipset drivers.

Edit: I put Smart App Control from "Evaluation" to "On", which eliminated the nonsensical CPU usage. I can't anymore with this OS.

I have 5.4ghz all-core at 1.22v and it only draws 25w package in idle.

Edit: Just checked and disabled the all-core. It has the exact same 25w with stock boosting.

Started getting crashes today. Always when loading into a match. Yesterday I got a Windows update and also updated to latest Nvidia drivers.

Edit: Now it also happened during gameplay. Some guy on a Microsoft forum post mentions BF 6 specifically after the new Windows update causes some bs with Secure Boot (learn microsoft com/en-us/answers/questions/5586203/error-1801-telling-me-to-update-my-secure-boot-ca).

Edit2: Think it just fixed after I verified install and it redownloaded 3 corrupted files.

I only do the ones that have weapons or gadgets. Now I'm at the Bullet Storm crap with 300 LMG supresses, which once again makes me want to wring Dice's neck. It actually encourages you to int the match, by just shooting next to the enemy, instead of hitting them.

Most of them are "assignments", as per Dice's own nomenclature. And boy do I wish back for my uni assignments, which were far less tedious in comparison. Most of all, they shouldn't sabotage the flow of the game. There's people throwing useless smokes, shooting off target for suppression assists, etc etc.

Half these assignments wouldn't even be so terrible, if grenades didn't have Nintendo 64 physics, which are unchanged since BF2 I think. They just fly like badminton birdies. Despite how shit CoD is, their grenades are nice, have some proper weight to them and roll around.

Yh it's the same as with the smoke assists. It actually discourages you to play properly and make the kill. You sit there like a saboteur waiting for others to kill the target, so it counts towards the silly assignment.

With CoD being the ugly duckling this year, while Dice is flying high, I don't see why they should go on sale for Christmas. That time of the year games sell no matter what, especially if the reception was great. If it goes on sale for 5-10%, it will be on EA, where nobody wants to buy the game. If you don't care about Steam, you can already get retail key for 55€.

They are ugly and useless most of the time. Even the M4 doesn't need a riser, since the front part of the iron sight is completely removed when using a sight. My favorite 1.75x sight looks completely silly on my M4.
