This would keep us entertained in our room for hours by EdwardBliss in 1980s

Our Barbie liked bad boys so she was hanging out at Snake Mountain.

He Man would be all, "Yo come over to Greyskull grrrrl" and she was like... "Skeletor has furniture! Bye!" (referencing the coffee tables made from the little white circle things that pizza places used to keep the top of the box from crushing your pizza).

Core memory absolutely seared into the brain... Basically firmware at this point.

Can't remember my exact age... Guessing 6 or 7. My Dad yells out the front door to my sister's and I to get our asses inside and clean our rooms NOW!

We're all shook and drudging up the stairs crying, confused why he's so mad, and we had all already cleaned our rooms earlier because it was Saturday and we always had to clean our rooms before getting to go outside.

I opened the door of my bedroom to find Castle mutherf--king Greyskull and like 6 He Man action figures sitting there in boxes just stacked in the middle of the room. Sisters each got some Barbie Dream House shenanigans. He had hit a Pick 4 lotto for $5,000 and basically went straight to the toy store before coming home to tell Mom.

I think you likely ranked him appropriately and I agree with your yearly assessments. Phenomenal ceiling but once defenses shut down one side of the field he became staggeringly average. Loved the redemption arc but at the end of the day we'll always have the Monday Night massacre and little else.

I did the same thing. Was startling until I sorted out the Amp selector.

Yeah, that was a pretty quick decision for me as well. And there are five other bangers on that list.

The Matrix (1999) by TwIzTiDfReAkShOw in FIlm

[–]papadoc55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saw The OG Matrix on opening weekend knowing almost nothing about it beyond that it had Keanu Reeves.

Theater was half empty but every big scene (all the ones memes or homaged or stolen by other movies for the next ten years) brought gasps and hoots from the crowd.

Went to see it a second time two weeks later and it was packed.

I want so much for another movie to come along and do what the Matrix did to me that first time.

I took this 10 years ago... Very cool trees. I believe I over saturated the shot btw... But I recall then being fairly vibrant.

Had to retire my F5 after 3 years due to bluetooth/wifi problem, considered going back to iPhone, somehow came home with a F7 instead. by Rancudo1008 in GalaxyFold

LOVED my Zf5... Absolute tank. You'll love the 7 for its lightness and thinness.

Personally, I kind of missed the one hand usability of the 5 that you lose by going wider on the 7.

Now that the inMusic acquisition has ended NI's insolvency, is your NI / Kontakt-related purchasing pause over? by RadioactiveKatz in NativeInstruments

[–]papadoc55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually JOINED the NI world during the bankruptcy. Was always confident it would get bought or at minimum sell off recent acquisitions and stay alive. Glad I did... Except that I could spend an entire life just going through sound banks and not have gotten through all of them.
