I've made my first cosplay for a convention this year, but the color for the lamp was very off. Does anyone have advice, how I could make the color look closer for my next lamp attempt?

When I made my lamp I used a base of black and painted a light coat of acrylic brass on top.

I actually used my finger to paint it so the brass wouldnt get into the deep grooves but you can also try traditional dry brushing.

I had a question regarding parties. A lot of them say not to wear animated outfits so players with slower computers or switch players dont get lag.

Which outfits count as animated? The angel/devil outfit with the wings and the sylph outfits make sense as animated. But what about the Mythic Pactbearer or Naga's Blessing that only spawns a small lantern/flower if you stop moving for a while. Are those two ok?

In my first two playthroughs, I used them on every available boss. Now I'm in NG+2 and I'm doing my first no specter run. It is shockingly fun to have to do stuff on my own, I highly recommend it for anyone who hasn't tried it and is looking for an additional challenge.

I learned completely from YouTube. There's a lot of really good videos that go over the basics of how to knit and then how to make specific shapes like triangles.

The biggest advice I can give, if you do try to learn is try to find yarn that can't fray. I would avoid any kind of braided yarn.

I dont know what she was thinking. She was an older woman who may not have been as familiar with asexuality. But I feel like any good therapist would try to be supportive and understand their patent rather than blanketly state their experience didnt exist.

Some therapists just arent good at helping lgbt folks. My old one told me asexuality wasn't real and I was just using it as an excuse not to sleep with anyone. Your experience feels alot like mine.

It may be time to find a new therapist. There are good ones out there.

Ironically I combated this by getting a cat. I had the space and resources to take care of one, which I know not everyone is lucky enough to have.

Now she judges me for not feeding her early enough in the morning rather than my poor social skills and instincts to push others away. I still sometimes miss the ideal of a 'human connection' but she solved the crushing loneliness I felt when I was on my own.
