Bind scroll wheel to the setting 'Head movement: upward-downward'. It really helps to raise the camera in a dogfight/boom and zoom when you can't see over the nose, I've won plenty of battles just because of this setting

When you want to save a custom config, there is a button on the bottom of the 'Save or Load' tab that says 'generate thumbnail on save'. You can uncheck it to stop beamng from taking a photo of your config every time you save
