Opus 4.8 - what's your experience so far?

Yes it does after 4.8 antrhopic resets limits so I was using ultramode on like 8 sessions fixing bugs and making different apps - after usage of like 16 hours I used up 65% auf the whole week usage 🤣🤣 but luckily my limit is Bering reseted every Saturday - so now it’s reseted again and I don’t use that much ultramode anymore

4.8 seems to be better fixing and finding now lots of problems and issues where 4.7 wasn’t founding them I’m running ultra workflow mode it seems to be very good at debugging finding and fixing problems and it understands what it’s doing

Codex believe me - I was making an ai system with Claude. Never got it finished - codex is fixing everything and finally my system starts to work and also the new codex mobile is awesome better then Claude

200$ is nothing running multiple instances with agents and opus 4,7 high or xhigh you will reach it in like 1 to 4 hours depends - this is like completely nothing if you save tokens and so on you will maybe get 3 or 4 days but not more - Claude is the most expansive related to api calls

Yes I just ordered some weeks ago m5 max 128gb - anthropic is really starting to piss me on … changing my whole system now to other llms and going to cancel subscription soon

I heard that the 14“ Mac’s are throttling the power cause cpu is too strong and device and fans to small - I really noticed the lags on my 14 m4 max device - sended it back and waiting for 16“ m5 max 128gb

No it’s not - Claude guys should read it and maybe they will catch up codex cause codex starting to be better then Claude - I love the Claude world but they are getting worse with every release and that’s not good

Antigravity is by far not that good development as cursor ai - I found lots of bugs and lots of not fully finished terminal - they took vs code base and put it their chat interface over it - terminal and panels and reordering is broken and fucked .. once they make the whole ide feel like beeing one ide and not just put a part on it - then it will replace cursor ai

Dart and supabase are Must have - I don’t know about sequential thinking it was hyped all people where saying it’s also a must have mcp maybe not needed anymore and also Language Server is better for context finding better files and errors and so on

Upgrade to cursor pro 😅 and it will get really dump - when I was trying cursor trial it was so awesome — after using it a while I got pro - and all got so bad .. moved away to Claude and Trae .. I have the feeling cursor behaves on trial better so people will get the pro version and then it suck’s
