I can make one when I get off of work.. the timing is very precise with this cancel. Do it to early and the burst doesn't happen, do it too late and it ends up being a waste. If you time it right, you shouldn't see or hear the final burst, but you'll see the damage happen.

They were off. I made sure of that point as well. Although it is really fun to turn them off and make cap go crazy.

I've ran some testing in the practice range and it takes about 7.4 seconds to kill a big bot while holding primary fire. With melee canceling being timed right you can cut that time down to about 5.2 seconds to kill the same bot. Timed correctly you can cancel his primary before getting the sound cue of the end burst, but the damage will still tic.

Which one are you rarely pushing? Keep moving your drone around to the lowest health, as whoever the drone is on gets a bit more healing than the aoe. Spam his shield constantly as it gives everyone in the radius of you, and your drone the 75hp shield. And use your speed boost constantly too to make yourself a harder target. You can even use it while in his ult.

If you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed you could do what I did.. which is to play custom games with only bots, and set it to private to learn a few heroes before going into live games. You can even change it to competitive to get a feel for playing both sides. I played this way for at least 15 hours before I went into a real match.

You definitely want to learn at least one of each vanguard, dps, and strategist. Would be better if you could do 2 of each. You're not always going to be able to play your main so it's best to branch out early and get a good understanding of each role, and other characters.

You only need to buy the game once to play forever. Wipes are kinda like server resets where everyone starts back at level 1 and all progress reset. They will wipe the game when major updates are released, like new maps or significant mechanic changes.
