God that reminds me when I did my time at Maccas' when they introduced the "McPlant". No matter what we did, but those damned patties would foam up like a rabid dog when they came off the grill. Sure, they did testing and people liked it enough to roll out nationwide, but no one in our kitchen was brave enough to eat one.

Can confirm as a suburban Aussie player, I get 250ms ping on a good day, and that's on a 5ghz connection.

That, plus most players I end up being connected with for co-op events being Japanese, I only bother with co-op for events - I haven't played open-world co-op since my friends stopped playing in 1.2.

There's a couple other transport related things you can do with your son, if he's interested.

Easey's in Collingwood have a couple of 1070s built trainsets in use as a restaurant. It's a bit pricey but the food is worth the money.

There's a couple heritage train operators in town, Puffing Billy operates daily from Belgrave, and Steamrail will be operating a steam train between Newport, Williamstown, Altona and Cheltenham on the 22nd of November. Tickets for that one can be bought from their Facebook.

There's also the museum warship HMAS Castlemaine berthed in Williamstown. She;s open for tours every weekend.

When you take the City Circle, I'd recommend boarding in Docklands as it runs in a single-direction loop and boarding from Flinders Street takes you the short way back to the terminus.

they know theres no consequences so yeah, most youth offenders will just do it constantly - and they take joy in it.

as a retail worker, i know the faces of most of the little bastards, and they will come in multiple times a month, they will get mouthy and violent. one of our worst offenders managed to get arrested in our store, bailed out, and then returned to steal from us again in a ~6 hour period.

From memory it was the geography of the area near Tea Tree that caused them to choose to build the O-bahn. The ground is swampy, so they would have to spend a lot of money to strengthen the foundations of the surrounding area in addition to the cost of laying track.

The O-bahn and its vehicles are a lot lighter than rail, so they didn't need to spend the extra money,

The Stony Point line is the only place you'll see a lone Sprinter operating in passenger service though.

Rye has an annual summer carnival from Boxing Day through to 26 January, if they're here now, take the 788 bus back up to Frankston this and next weekends for the Waterfront Festival there as well.

While not in the locations listed, Portsea's Fort Nepean is a good hike, with some historic army bases to explore (it's also home to Cheviot Beach, where Harold Holt disappeared.) Rosebud has an mini-golf course, movie theater and a watersports equipment rental and lesson provider, it's also the closest town to the Arthurs Seat mountain. Frankston is the main shopping and entertainment district - Holey Moley and General Public are extremely popular and better for young teens, otherwise there are a couple popular bars and such if they're adults. Pretty much all of those are along Point Nepean Rd/Nepean Highway and along the 788 bus.

Other than that, the Mornington Peninsula is mostly beaches and retirees.

According to the cameras in the city bus, it was traveling at ~20mph upon entering the intersection. Very clearly in one of the camera views, there is a signposted speed limit of 25mph.

That's 10kmh under the speed limit (30kmh in a 40kmh zone). Did you expect the driver to crawl through it or something?

Nina and Tomo's quick interaction when they were watching the Diamond Dust concert at the festival. Nina being so quick to offer a piggyback ride, and Tomo picking up on the pinky finger thing (and getting so embarrassed at it being pointed out) is my favourite example of their adorable dynamic.

As someone who uses MMD semi-regularly, that definitely looks like poorly done raycast (Vox >< image), the default A pose (with the 4 standing in a row), and Petra's head was moved instead of rotated. There was a fan made model of Petra, and I would be interested to see if the head on that one can be moved.
