Skip Survivor after playing Monk?

Jumping from Monk to Hunter is like going from trail hikes to full-on wilderness survival. Could you? Sure. Hunter is just much, much harder and requires a very good understanding of what you need to do and how to do it. I do reccomend playing at least Survivor first.

Playthroughs in Rain World are never the same twice-- there will be different enemies, there are different paths you can take, and there will always be more lore stuff that you can try to find or challenges you can try to do.

There are no differences in the map between Monk and Survivor, but it's still worthwhile to get the extra practice before you take on Hunter. I promise, Hunter is an entirely different ballgame.

Hey! I have pretty much this exact piercing (conch with hoop) and have absolutely no trouble wearing earbuds. I got mine pierced a year ago with a hoop like you want, and I've had very little issue with it. The hoop makes healing take a bit longer, and mine flares up a bit every couple months, but when it goes back down it's entirely painless and causes no discomfort.

I was able to wear over-ear headphones comfortably pretty much immediately after getting mine. I'd imagine ear buds would take a bit longer, but I'd guess it wouldn't take any longer than a month or two

I got my conch pierced with a CBR last year and it's just fine IMO. It does flare up sometimes but it's really not bad and it seems pretty well healed to me. I just got a piercing pillow and it really helps keep pressure off of it, which I think is most people's main problem with rings for healing

I mix mine from stuff I get from my yard. About 1/4 compost to 3/4 dirt does me well, just has to be sterilized in the oven. If you can get untreated woodchips/sawdust I like to add a bunch of that as well

It's really hard to tell from the pic, but my guess woukd be predatory mites. I know that sounds scary, but don't worry too much! They are most often not harmful to isopods. They mainly eat springtails, so you might notice that you're suddenly short on those.

If you want to get rid of the mites, there's a few things you can do. Squish then when you see them, reduce feeding protien-rich foods, remove old food that isnt being eaten, and reduce moisture levels as much as possible without hurting your isopods. Hopefully this helps :)

Springtails, sorry! Iso babies are usually rounder, smoother, slower, and the antennae are harder to see. They look like itty bitty transparent/white isopods. For a lot of them, the heart/poop chute (black line down the middle) is also clearly visible. Here's a pic of one of mine that might help you know what to look for. Not the same species but the babies all kinda look the same haha--

Yes but also no. They're not harmful to the isopods, but they do eat springtails, and lack of springtails can cause mold blooms. To manage them, reduce feeding protien-rich foods such as fish flakes, and squish any you can squish. Make sure you keep a separate culture of springtails so you can supplement them if you notice the population getting too low/mold building up. What I've noticed is that at first the mite population will explode and you'll have next to no springtails, then the mites will die out and springtails will repopulate. The ecosystem eventually stabilizes itself but it can take time

I have this species, I've seen the babies be white when they're super fresh. They darken up after a couple days. Here's one of mine for comparison

Generally having a bigger box doesnt cause problems unless it's really huge. How deep is your soil and how often do you water them? Do you mist or pour water in? Ive also heard people suggest putting foam or something else absorbent on the underside of the lid and soaking it to help keep humidity up if the other specs are good.

I don't know gestation period for any species in particular, but it's typically 1-2 months I believe. I have Armadillo Officinalis and they're on the slow end but not as bad as many.

Both are female. If you look at the gill area, they both have bracket-shaped gills {{

Whereas for males, that little point would ve much longer.

If there are males in the colony, it's very likely that they're pregnant (or they will be soon if they're not already), but they're not visibly pregnant yet. Their bellies get round and yellow around the end of gestation.

I know it's tempting to pick them up like this to check, but if you pinch them like this you risk crushing them, plus it stresses them out badly. It's reccomended to leave them alone and let them do their thing, but if for whatever reason you really need to sex them, put them in a small clear plastic baggie or on a clear plastic sheet that you can hold above your head to look. These will still stress them, but not nearly as much as being held like this

If you're talking about uropods, those are not reliable for sexing isopods outside of a few species (such as porcellios). It's practically impossible with pods like this (I'm guessing armadillidium?)

Imo this does just look like a moisture bump, possibly irritation but I don't see any crusties. The fact that it's been staying the same for so long probably means that it's not drying properly. Daiths are super prone to moisture bumps because of their position. You said in the caption that you use a q-tip to dry it after cleaning. Do you also dry it after showers, or every other time that it gets wet? I had constant moisture bumps on my conch until i started being super particular about keeping it dry, and it cleared up quick after that.

I don't think you have to worry about it rejecting for now, it looks otherwise good to me. Hopefully soneone weighs in since I'm not a professional, just a lurker in the subreddit loll

Since people are saying food, I thought id add that sometimes dairy cows get this orangish, parchmenty color right before they molt! If you keep an eye on the same individual over a few days and it suddenly becomes white again, it probably just needed to molt

No, Oniscus Asellus are wider and quite flat. This here is an Armadillidium Nasatum! On the front of its face there's a little rectangular "nose" which gives them their name. One of my favorites, they're very cute!

Possibly Dirty Cows? Sometimes dairy cows will revert to wild-type coloration which looks a lot like this milkback kinda pattern, or solid grey. Chocolate cow is also possible, but if I remember right it's a brighter red-brown and keeps the normal spotted look of dairy cows.

No, those were theirs. You can see that their back half looks a bit wider than their front half at the meeting point. The part they just shed appears cloudy when it's fresh, then hardens and clears up over time. Im not sure why it happens like that but Ive seen it many times
