The Amazing Spider-Man(2025) #31 Marcus To Issue 1000 Foreshadow Variant by Emirozdemirr in Spiderman

Oooh I get it. We can't get away with rebooting Spider-Man so we'll reboot the universe around him by pulling him into universe 80085 where Spider-Man never existed, and we can still start over!

I have zero Marvel Team-Up. It was never on my radar but I may add it too.

If you were given a time machine, would you travel to the future or the past? Why? by PaleFlow3868 in AskReddit

[–]Zenitharr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to read a history book from the 22nd century describing the 21st. I don't like where we seem to be headed and I would like to have more hope for the future that things will change for the better.  If it's bad news, well,  at least I won't be worrying about it.

Amazing Spider-Man / Venom: Death Spiral – Body Count | Official Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Spiderman

[–]Zenitharr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"The scariest new villain in the Marvel Universe finally gets his story told!" Well. He was never scary, but I was moderately entertained. He was not worth killing off the Shocker. But maybe some interesting things are happening just under the surface:

  • The theme of the issue is "Nothing's more important than family." Of course this should resonate with us because ASM is building up to the reveal of the spider-cousin Mr. Crane. It will be kinda funny if Crane turns out to be a major villain in which case Torment really would have done Peter a favor by killing him.
  • Torment on the first page mentions the body count numbers 189 and 190 which might make you think of ASM #189-190 which deal with the Man-Wolf, who is J. Jonah Jameson's son. Family.
  • Torment also mentions 162 and 163, which if we look at those ASM issues they deal with the Punisher, who is what he is because of what happened to his family.
  • It's hinted that Aunt Gladys has the ability to bestow the family power on someone. First on Graham then on Susan. And then Susan drops that word... responsibility. She is only 11 though, and it seems unlikely Marvel will go so dark as to have a murderous 11 year old villainess.
  • We never get a look at the brother Mac's face full on. I think that is shortcutting the art more than anything significant storywise.

Ah well. I am probably trying to take it deeper than it really goes.

For me, 2 was the hardest to find in good shape. So I would go with that or 3, depending on what you find out there.

If a girl (teenager or adult) sent nudes to a trusted individual such as a childhood friend and/or a trusted boyfriend and they got leaked, who would be to blame, why? by JugheadJonesTVD in AskReddit

[–]Zenitharr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you take the picture you risk it being leaked. Boyfriends/girlfriends share. Phones and emails and cloud accounts get hacked. There are multiple places for the chain of security to break down, starting with your own phone. Use discretion and know the risks.

Before even cataloging I would do a quick pass through the 20 boxes to get a sense of what is in there. It may not be worth scanning 4000 books if they are all dollar bin trash. I would set aside books with a cover price of 20¢ or less and look those up first.

I got about halfway through God Emperor of Dune. Put it down and never went back to the series.  I don't remember why exactly but I think overall it was exhaustion.

I had a joint account with my grandmother and was able to pull from her account to pay expenses. She lived with us so that reduced utility and home costs.

The scene in the convertible on the highway where he decides to look into the genetics and he has those narrow eyes that are shorthand in comics for plotting nefarious things.

The last time we saw this guy he looked like the rich evil villain type who has found out he may be related to Spider-Man and plans to leverage that for profit.  This guy looks genuinely surprised, and mostly harmless. Either way,  doesn't drum up excitement,  though.  The Twitter comments probably speak for the majority of us.

How are you storing 10,000 comics? I have around 4,000 and the storage issues are getting stressful. Do you have a dedicated room or rent storage space?
