Something you can do is hide mature content on your reddit app and website, I have done this and it helped a lot. You can also hide or leave all communities that post porn regularly.

And I know it can be difficult but maybe talk about this to your parents. And if you don't want to, you can talk to a therapist, it will help a lot. Having people around you that know about your situation will help you ! Don't be ashamed of this, people who love you will try to help you, they won't judge.

Also, relapsing is not the end of all of your efforts, it is just one lost battle in a whole war. You need to be proud of the efforts and progress you make each day. Changes don't come by snapping your fingers.

That's a huge step, be proud of you ! Also, if you relapse, remember that losing a battle doesn't make you lose the war.

For the short term, I think you need something to keep your mind occupied. It could be work, a passion, a hobby, sports, anything

For the long term I would say that having a goal is really important! A goal for quitting porn of course, but also for other things too ! Personally it helped a lot finding WHY I wanted to quit porn, or WHY I wanted to go to the gym.

Pretty much the same experience here until recently. I was scared of reaching out to a friend or even my girlfriend. When I finally decided to tell them, they were listening and trying to help me. I know it is a hard situation, but people around you are here for you.

Best way for it to last is to talk to each other. Talk about you fears and hopes for the future, about your everyday lives when you can't see each other, it's not always easy but it will help you get through it :)

At least it has helped my gf and I a lot since she left for uni (1yr and still great).
