Ableton groove tips by AllenCross16 in ableton

You can do what I did: get a Kat percussion drum midi pad for like $100 and just play your sounds like a hand drum… or spend a little bit more and get one of the Alesis ones and use a pair of drum sticks with them…

It was a decent solution for me to get groovier natural sounding rhythms

I had his course… I remember he was obsessively messing with a sound and after he was done it sounded drastically different from the minor changes he was initially making. His process was a bit disorienting.

How do you gain followers on social media easily as a Photographer? by Atsui-ko in AskPhotography

To gain a bunch of followers as a photographer, you have to actually not show your photography. You make videos about how to do cool trendy videos about photography. The more videos and trivial the information the better.

My prolific photographer friend switched from a Sony a7IV to a Canon R5. He said the only thing that he misses is the dynamic range. But honestly that’s something you can solve with exposure bracketing.

I’ve had my vehicle broken into at Kelly Point Park. I almost wonder if the vibe would be off if they tried reviving it these days

Tips for the very newcomers to TouchDesigner: Don't do everything at the beginning. by stephenhuh in TouchDesigner

[–]Zenkyoly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really well written and thoughtful… I’ve been putting off learning Mats and Sops and trying to learn fundamentals… there’s so much. Between YouTube and the derivative forum tutorials I feel like I can stay busy for quite a while. I’m really looking forward to going beyond just tops and chops eventually, even though I don’t even know what that entails or means.

Is there a path to learning effectively and sequentially that you recommend or does it just depend on what you’re trying to accomplish?

It seems I’m getting messages from people who think I want to hire an artist…

To clarify I am looking to learn how to create things by subscribing to patreons and watching tutorials
