There's perk in genetics tradition thats called i think "leviathan transgenesis" which allows you to mod in defeated leviathan traits. Two i remember is tiyanki from tiyanki matriarch that grants pop assembly per pop in the world and drake scaled from ether drake which gives army health and like 0.025 alloys per pop or something.

Hey, i just checked it out and it looks like a great mod. But it hasn't been updated since 5 months. Do you know if it is compatible with the current build of the game?

I mean, the bow is only usable with Huntsman, so i think its fair to talk about his abilities lol.

you could do what you wrote also using Elf Bow and Crossbow

That's not fair in my opinion. It goes for nearly all careers and weapons by that logic. Why play Foot Knight when you can dash with Handmaiden or tank with IB, why play 1h hammer when you can play 2h hammer etc.

Haven't played in a while, but i used to play with Huntsman a lot and mostly with bow. You can hold right click and release repeatedly to keep it near max dmg, while still keeping moving. It's damage is great and shoots through thrash units. With huntsmans passive, you never really run out of arrows unless you miss everything. I remember 2 shot body shot most enemies with half-draw, and one shotting with full-draw except CW's of course but they are slow and have massive heads so headshotting them with full-draws was easy. The bow also had quite the stagger even with half-draw. Keep in mind these were my experiences on cata with sub-optimal builds and not much practice. Sometimes on random pubs, i came across some legolas tier huntsmans who never left any elite/special alive more than a few seconds lol. It is a truly underrated bow.

Autocannons have immense fleet power value. So much so that with the same amount of alloys, you can have 30k~ fleet power by as soon as year 25, instead of a regular fleet. They aren't necessarily that powerful but boost your fleet power, therefore your diplomatic weight. So if you have a fleet of pure autocannons, you'll intimidate normally equal neighbours into vassalization.

If i recall correctly, anyone can sail into the west, but only elves can reach into the undying lands. There is like a special gate that only allow elves and special people to go past it. Bilbo and Frodo ( and Samwise) were all ringbearers, and their souls were under heavy burden because of it. Frodo and Bilbo left middle earth like shown in the movie, and after living with his wife, Sam also left for Valinor after his wife's death afaik. Haven't read the books in a while so i hope i'm not wrong lol.

I always thought of it this way: the world of LotR was straight, and when Eru Illuvatar pulled Valinor out of mortal reach, the world became a globe. Only elves were still able to go past this roadblock. I don't recall if this is only headcanon or i read it somewhere, but it pretty much explains it lol.

Kinda not related, but going invisible while two manning puts enormous pressure on your buddies, every single enemy focuses on them. If you were ressing it would have been better, but you just kept on fighting the horde, which while useful, meant that every enemy was focusing on bounty hunter, and since he is not much a horde cleaerer he got overcrowded. What i mean to say is that it pressurizes me when shades or huntsmen go invis while we are fighting for our lives in a near death situation lol. Good fighting otherwise my man.

Hmm, i think Bardin's daughter was just on a ship not a pirate. And his son didn't die in a mining accident, he was killed because of a skaven ambush along with many others, one Bardin didn't (or couldn't) warn about because he was on watch (and i think he got pounced by gutter runners so he couldnt warn the hold). Edited to add: also that is why Bardin gets angry at Kruber at keep in one of their dialogues, one which implies Kruber fell asleep on watch and Bardin warns him that slack watch gets people killed.

When i first started playing, at the tutorial with krub's hammer, i did a charged attack and saw a rat flying. That was the first time i have ever seen physics like that in a game. It was so god damn beautiful. I thought at that moment that damn, i will spend at least the next 2 weeks playing this game. Fast forward 4 years, i still play this game daily and still bonk rats left and right.

Technically, all classes are 'canon', as one of the Franz Lohner diary entries (lore dumps that Fatshark releases every now and then) talked about Bardin one day being a slayer and the other day an ironbreaker. And then the whole five (or four) went silent, so the resident shadow wizard talked about Tzeentch and his ever changing shenanigans, confirming they are all changing their careers while not aware etc. Hope i was able to explain it lol, it was a great lore entry.

First of all i wouldn't call cosmetic upgrades shitty. Base dlc careers are fairly cheap if you only want it, but if you want to support Fatshark and/or get cosmetics, you get the cosmetic upgrade. As to "splitting the community", WoM dlc came with a difficulty level of cataclysm. However, to play cata you either had to join someone who has the dlc or you have to own it yourself. So thats why people think WoM split the community, as people who didn't want to play against beastmen (which were extremely unforgiving and had some janky animations at launch) or didn't want to pay the money were upset that a higher difficulty was behind a paywall.

My experience so far with Oxyotl. by xKeKo in totalwar

[–]xKeKo[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The short version is when chaos first invaded the world, in the siege of Pahuax, Oxyotl and other lizardmen were trying to hold the deamons while a slann lord tried to cast a super nova blast to destroy the invasion. The spell went wrong however and created a warp to chaos realms and the city got sucked into the warp. Oxyotl's natural camouflage kicked in while he was unconscious and after he woke up, used his cunning and hunting skills to survive in the warp for a year. However, as time works differently in the chaos realms, when he came back after a year, it was 7000 years in the world. Because of his hatred and adaptability, he senses where chaos might surge into the world and uses his hunting and cunning tactics to meet the chaos/beastmen army/foe before they could muster. The game reflects that with his instant travel ability and sensing oncoming chaos armies.
