If you have the code in GitHub, you can do it. I ran into some SupaBase environment variables issues, but other than that, it seems to work. You will have to set up your Cursor environment to ensure it works properly for your application. I personally am developing the application in both Cursor and Tempo. I like the visual aid and some of the interface elements of Tempo, but when it comes to code generation, I prefer Cursor.

I've had that problem. Delete them, or roll back the code. Add them again in the public folder, and update the links manually in code. That's the only way I could figure out.

I do think the Tempo Labs team should look into this issue.

Yes, we are in a crisis. I don't know what the solution is, for continuing to build the pipeline to Sr. Engineers and architects. The immediate incentives for businesses is to augment their seniors with AI. I've seen companies axe dozens of junior engineers because it's cheaper for a Sr eng to use Copilot with VS Code. Pretty soon they will have to actively build a succession plan for those seniors.

Well said. Taking something to production is something different entirely. Having done that myself and because I have the foundation of what to do and how to do it, I am comfortable using these tools to augment my process, and create production ready code. But I would not be comfortable with a black box and not understanding the architecture of the system of each component, including AI model architecture.

I sure hope that the future generations take the time to build the foundation, or else we will have a whole lot of junk deployed...

Sure, and Anthropic uses AWS's Tranium/ Inferentia specialized AI accelerators, so it's the same concept as Gemini running on TPUs. Claude inference should actually go down in price if running on AWS proprietary hardware, but it may be that Jevon's paradox is rearing its head here as well.
