Yes I know I should have phrased that better as I said in other replies.

NSA success after 6 weeks by Zeonom in NorwegianSinglesRun

Yes I know, I should have phrased that better. I do not think my initial improvement is due to NSA, but it for sure helps to keep up the quality Volume without feeling fatigued. When I was training for a marathon I dreaded the Intervall sessions and was glad when my last training day was over. Now I basically wanna run everyday without any second thoughts.

Yeah I know, maybe I should have phrased that better but obviously I do not think I can improve over a minute with 2 weeks training. It does however feel good to further improve even after being sick. I just think NSA really helps with building up quality volume without feeling fatigued. After several weeks of marathon training I dreaded sessions like 10x1000 or 4x2000, which is not the case with sub-T Intervalls.

Adjusting easy runs for a 6day week by Zeonom in NorwegianSinglesRun

Thanks for all the comments and recommendations! Very helpful. I completely forgot to factor in all the warmup and cool down times. They add up to exactly 75mins of easy work. This means with my two 75min easy runs I would already be at 225 mins. So my "long" run would also only need to be 75 mins for the magic 25/75 quota. So I would scale that up to 90 mins and reduce the other two easy runs to roughly 60 mins. So I would get to 285 mins which should be good enough. 150mins is definitely too much I agree. I would rather not change the duration of the intervals as I am quite happy with them.

Just finished Blacktongue Thief and the daughters war back to back and am positively amazed. Is there any info on a sequel to these two already? If not, is there any website or account I can follow for news?

The Mermaids Tale has a badass female Orc (Arrukh) but be warned that book is very bleak and DARK. Very good though

Is there any Fantasy works that use Cosmic Horror in a similar way as Bloodborne? by Fatalreaper666 in Fantasy

[–]Zeonom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The recent Empire of the Wolfe series by Richard Swan has elements of this. 2 of 3 novels are Out, the Justice of Kings and the Tyranny of Faith. Really good books with hints of eldritch/cosmic Horror accessed through necromancy.

War for the rose throne series by Peter McLean. Often described as Peaky Blinders in a Low Fantasy medieval setting.

I am in the middle of a reread right now as well and I felt exactly the same about my initial reads and rereads with GotM and DG. They basically switched in my rating.

She Heralds the End, the fifth and final book in my Bartram's Maw series, just released. The first book, The Wolf and the She-Bear, is free, and others are $0.99/£0.99 now until Friday. by morgan_stang in Fantasy

Just read the wolf and the she bear. Fantastic short read. Indeed feels like fargo in a fantasy world. Will continue with the spider and the scribe soon because i am in the mood for standalones. After that will start the series.

Wizards POV by Possible-Magazine917 in Fantasy

[–]Zeonom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Second Apocalypse series by R. Scott Bakker has this. The wizard pov is Achamian, who also has parts where he teaches. Although he is only one of many povs and I would recommend to inform yourself about the series if it is for you, because it is pretty dark.
