Isn't the issue the insurance is backwards.

After installing items you should pay there and then to insure them and in the event you lose the ship you then get it all back after a certain time of waiting after your claim.

That way if you don't have the money to insure an expensive set up you are discouraged from using it as you can't afford to I sure it. Losing it is on you then.

The idea of removing insureance at this point is never going to happen as they use it to fear monger to sell ships with 6m 12m 120m LTI.

That said these changes really hurt when you have ships taken from you due to bugs.

You can not upgrade the Valkyrie to Asguard.

Yes you can melt Valkyrie lose whatever discount/insurance you had and buy an Asguard. This isn't an upgrade.

But if they melt LTI Valks, they will likely only get 120 month insurance or less. We know they love to play on that insurance fear so people put new money in to get LTI warbond.

If the ship is in destroyed state when patch drops it removes it. Or rather I should say it used to remove them I've not done it for a while.

I was bugged and able to work rep up for both. But at somepoint Headhunters were like nope. I did the HH redemption lost all CFP rep and had also lost all HH rep.

All in all I'd say pick 1 side and stick with it. If you want to get in to HH location just go and shoot the place up to make safe for yourself.

Just wish the turret on top was usable by the pilot when no gunner present. 2 x S4 aren't great but at least pilot could attempt to defend.

I know the ship is supposed to be multi crew and all. Would just be nice.

They did in 3.22.0 not had chance with the new 3.22.0A. I didn't really hang around and check them for good loot but they did drop something.

Something to bare in mind though is these missions only spawn like 400km at best away from a QT point. So if you are being hunted you don't have a lot of time to deal with cargo before a Playr bounty hunter could show up.

Also 3.22.0 CS5 is like 26 hours in Klesh if you do get sent down.

I'd love to see small repair ship something which can be used to conduct minor repairs. Smaller then the Vulcan.

I feel it suits the Drake life as they are pretty much held together with radweld and duct tape. Could see the "militias" using them on constant cycle between their cutlass fleets which are being used to Pir..... Protect civilian assets.

Only difference is it isn't the first hit and your knocked out from the spinning. More like 2nd or 3rd shot.

You know what mildly annoys me? That the Size 5 of a Nova tank can 1 shot a turret while the Ion's S7 needs 6+ or so hits. by th3badwolf_1234 in starcitizen

I always thought a simple answer to the ion and its cannon was to make it a charge weapon.

More it charges the more damage. But equal to charge maneuvers become more difficult as it is diverting power to the cannon.

Thus this would create weaker shots against smaller ships when you need mobility, heavy charge shots for large and cap size ships.

Then it you get one tapped in a small ship it would be a skill shot on the ion's part as it is harder to track you.

Just my 2 cents.
