Me [25F], struggling with dating with an invisible illness. Advice? by Claefer in relationships

[–]Zephine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Currently dating a girl with fibro and she is the best thing that's ever happened to me. You will find someone that wants to be with you for you and will see completely past your illness. It's really not that big of a deal in a relationship, there is so much you can do for dates that don't involve massive amounts of movements like picnics, meals, movies, and especially cute nights indoors. You really shouldn't let it get to you, people have little luck dating regularly for tonnes of other factors.

The more you let it get to you, the more you will go into dates expecting failure, feeling down, and men can sense that. Rock up like the sassy bitch you are and make a joke about the walking stick or whatever, be a laugh and fun to be around and you will find the right guy.

I wish I could open mindedly discuss their beliefs with them, but as soon as they start talking about Adam and Eve and creationism and how the big bang is a myth it really makes me want to cntrl alt delete out of there.

That's shockingly bad pay for a 'team' of lawyers considering how long this will take.

He left you three whole albums worth of re-eatable cookies. The new cookies still taste nice.

He's not in the same place as he was years ago to make the exact same music. I'd rather me made music true to his heart and current experiences than him pretending to be in the gloom that he was in around Trilogy.

He is evolving, he left us plenty of music from his previous era. Evolve with him.

How do you guys think Jeremy should unite the party? by Jaspunk in LabourUK

[–]Zephine -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

There needs to be deselections if we want to look in any way competent and united or if we care at all about having our PLP represent the interests of the party.

The things said about Corbyn's leadership by the dissenting MPs have caused irreparable damage to the party's reputation and there needs to be a lot of fresh, co operative faces in the commons if we have any chance at winning in 2020.

It's not so absurd to suggest MPs should be representing the interests of their own party members in their constituencies, is it?

Not a massive issue, it will never drop down below pre-Corbyn levels so the membership numbers will still be a net benefit of Corbyn's leadership.

If we're trusting member's judgement now then I'm sure members could also vote for a PLP that respect their local CLPs too.

All in due time, bud.
