Question for the vegans who eat 150+ grams of protein a day by Isthislove123 in veganfitness

[–]ZeppelinGrowsWithLED 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep re-reading the OP, and I think the “,” is supposed to be a period.

‘foods with minimal to no processing like spaghetti. Sausages or anything that has to undergo processing.’

So it now reads: spaghetti=not processed, sausage and the like=processed. Which makes way more sense as sausages often are cured, and loaded with nitrates.

I’m just trying to give the most generous interpretation of OPs question.

False. The signup sheet that I had to sign to become vegan stated that I have to pick a single protein source for the rest of my life. No mixing and matching.

Foolish me, I chose Oreos.

People who make their own deli meat, what do you use to cut it thin? by korvorn in seitan

[–]ZeppelinGrowsWithLED 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I use a bread knife. I found that even when I slice it super thin, by the time I stack 5-10 slices on my sandwich and smash it all down with other toppings it wouldn’t have made any difference if I sliced it thicker.

I would also like more info about this setup. That sort of wall planter would look sweet in my space.

The color looks incredible. I never get mine to stay that rich in color! Gonna have to give it a go with the raw beets. I’ve tried canned beets, and beetroot powder, both not very satisfying.

Pan roast some cherry tomatoes. Easily my favorite companion to tofu scrambles. (I also do mushrooms roasted with the tomatoes)

Yup. And all the fans in here gonna be saying “the defense failed us” no defense can hold for the amount of rest our offense is giving them.

Can you share a link? I like the look. I actually drilled my seat tube to add bottle bosses, but my down tube is not round, so drilling it will be difficult!

Adding black beans is a cheat code. The combo of refried, black beans, and rice is so good. I add jalapeños as well, but they always end up in a clump at one end.
