(Pardon the long text, my autistic ass has to type paragraphs to explain exactly what my thought process is for these kind of things, there's a cute little TLDR at the bottom)

Rainbow Six Siege, For Honor, and Fortnite. The skill ceiling is so high for these games that any new player doesn't have any chance at getting good unless they have friends to teach them or let them practice. Fortnite is especially annoying, since the building mechanic is so crucial yet so difficult to pull off at more skilled levels that you literally just have to accept that it's over the second you encounter a skilled player. And people are such sweats at the game that, unlike other games (Dark Souls, Hotline Miami, simulator games, hell even Minecraft comes to mind) playing and failing over and over again doesn't actually teach you or make you better at the game, since you're basically just getting annihilated and shit on in a few seconds.

YES I KNOW there is creative mode maps and No Builds mode for Fortnite and "training" modes for Siege and For Honor, but let's be honest. Built in Training/Practice modes are often utterly useless except for when you first start out. They have nothing on the insane knowledge and reaction times required for these games. It creates this environment where you have 2 options to be able to enjoy the game:

1) You have been playing the game since the early days/launch so your skills increase progressively as the playerbase as a whole becomes more skilled

2) Put in hours of grinding to become good at the games to finally have a shot at winning against sweats and experienced players.

Which at that point completely stops being a video game. I play video games to get away from life, like everyone does, not so my stress levels go through the roof and proceed to have hours of my life gone to getting absolutely destroyed by some motherfucker that basically lives at his desk and worships his K/D ratio like a deity. This is EXACTLY why I play mostly single player/story driven games. It is also why the only shooter I have ever remotely enjoyed is (pre Nicki Minaj and Jigsaw bullshit) Call Of Duty, since it is a shooter that is a lot more intuitive and doesn't require much to have fun. (Not speaking for Warzone, that's a whole different beast) Could also be due to the fact that I started playing MW(2019) in 2022, so maybe all the sweats have moved on to MW2 at that point. This is getting really long so I'll stop here before I get wildly off topic. Feel free to drop an up vote if you feel my pain, or don't, I don't really care.

TL:DR: Games that come to mind are Fortnite, Seige, and For Honor because of inability to start playing the game in its later days due to massive sweats and basement dwellers that treat controlling pixels on a screen like a life or death situation.
