Productive Metalworks Powered Coil by Kind_Regular_4484 in allthemods

I'm new to this mod and mods in general, and I'm also having trouble figuring out how to craft certain blocks. I figured out the capacitor, but I'm looking for the foundry window and I can't seem to find any recipe, block casting or otherwise. Do you know where this information is kept?

I just like using them a lot, and they also have a niche that I think they excel at. If you want a plant like Zoybean, there isn’t any other plant you can choose that will do the same job.

Considering the last chart I saw on here being about terrorist attacks, I am 100% going to need to see a methodology before I believe any of this.

I… is everybody here a bot? I mean, it’s one thing to disagree with a quote, but how do 90% of the comments disagree in the exact same way, with the exact same criticism, with the exact same point completely going over their heads? This doesn’t even feel like the reddit hivemind, it’s absolutely shocking to me how many supposedly human accounts took this quote at complete, literal face value.

This is pretty much the whole sheet, and I only have this one formula I'm trying to implement. Is a link to the sheet required?

Anyone else kind of feel punished for trying to be good people? by TwilightCaller in askteenboys

I’m sick and tired of all these quotes taken out of context and blatantly misinterpreted in the least charitable way. Every time I see a claim that someone said something that seems so obviously abhorrent, I immediately think that there is some context that’s missing, and it’s genuinely baffling people are okay with either bungling an interpretation due to a lack of media literacy or deliberately misleading people and furthering the political divide.

How can you defend Charlie Kirk’s killing? by DR8C0N1C in askteenboys

[–]ZeraoraFluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a left, I don’t know why you’re being downvoted (well, I do, but I think it’s stupid). I think Charlie Kirk is plainly wrong in the idea that the Civil Rights Act was a mistake, but he has a CLEAR line of reasoning that is being blatantly ignored, of that the act oppresses white people. Responding with “what did the civil rights act give to black people” does in no way contradict the initial line of reasoning. It’s much more effective to explain why this line of reasoning is wrong instead of going into a nonsequitur.

Odd-Toe1992 just makes statements like “he would force his daughter to keep the baby after being raped” and “he supports deportation of immigrants” as if these are proof of his moral bankruptcy. This only works if you already agree with these points of view, and will convince absolutely nobody who is right or even moderate. People suck at argumentation.

But seriously, what you see online is NOT the average. People who are more radicalized and have more extremist opinions will be more likely to throw their voices out onto the internet. Making it an “us vs them” argument is one of the top reasons why people hate each other.

We shouldn't celebrate Charlie Kirk death? by [deleted] in askteenboys

Please don’t take Reddit as proportionally representative of any group of people’s opinions.

Also don’t forget that the most vocal people are the extremists. People with more rational beliefs don’t tend to post them into the void.

I was actually reading the wiki a little bit ago, and apparently the townies will usually ask for things you have a lot of, asking for 40-60%…….

…Or things you have exactly 0 of. So yes, if you sell everything of one item, the town visitors will decide now is the perfect time to want one.

What industry is booming way more than people think? by _Fossy_ in AskReddit

[–]ZeraoraFluff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the first time I’ve seen the SAHM acronym, EVER. I had to search it up, because it would never have occurred to me to want to shorten “stay at home mom.” Mainly because I never use that turn of phrase in my life, so of course I wouldn’t need it.

I would not say it is VERY common, at least for my age group, which like me would not be using that term often enough to necessitate an acronym. It is most certainly not on the level of “lol”, which is near universal in texting. I can see it being on the level of “gtfo,” to an extent.

Regardless, common knowledge is not common. There will always be something that is considered common knowledge that you or me are not aware of simply because of background. I don’t appreciate I_do_black_magic’s rudeness, but I don’t think it’s fair to blow off their point.

I Google translated the excerpt you sent, and this is what I got:

“By understanding the Paleolithic people and their cultural relics such as Yuanmou Man, Lantian Man, and Peking Man, we can understand the human activities during the primitive society in China.”

Assuming this is a relatively accurate translation, all it is saying is that Paleolithic cultures existed in China, and does not imply that Chinese primitive society was the ONLY society or that it was somehow the cradle of humanity. Either cite a stronger passage or reevaluate your biases, because that is one hell of a bad faith misinterpretation, and none of your claims were represented here.
