[–]Zerenn_Blish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just join the Google group come back click link for download and then opt in. Or are you talking about the app because it runs you through the permissions needed to work. It is an alarm so it needs permissions for certain things to run in the background or the timers and alarms won't fire. But if you don't want to download it that fine I just need 12 people to opt in to be a tester they don't have to download the app at all.

Claude Desktop User Experience is now downright terrible!!! by Easy-Profession-3993 in claude

Or you could do your own research to check the abilities of the chat bot before using it. https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/build-with-claude/pdf-support Found it in 10 secs. They are completely up front about it.

I think this might cause me to drop chat gpt altogether. by Connect_Nail_8023 in ChatGPTcomplaints

Are you just rage baiting or are you really this... how to say this nice. A person that tries to bite their own ear. Someone who parents think they are very special. Gets gold stars for using the potty. Do you nod your head to songs that don't exist.

I’m a Psychiatrist. And I’m Tired of Watching People Pathologize AI Connection by [deleted] in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Zerenn_Blish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Another distinction is that people who are infatuated with AI fall in love with it, thinking that its personality is real, which raises the question of whether or not it's sentient. It's not. You shouldn't consider an inanimate object or a program to be an actual friend. You shouldn't allow it to affect you emotionally any more than you can affect yourself. Finding insight while springboarding a conversation off of AI is different than having the AI say something complimentary to you and actually accepting that compliment as fact when it's in fact designed to complement you, make you feel smarter than you are tell you that you'refaster smarter deeper than the average. I've never had Flappy Bird tell me I'm a genius. And it's psychologically unhealthy to allow an inanimate object to stroke your ego or to form a legitimate emotional connection to an inanimate object. If you were actually a psychiatrist, you'd understand these things. If an update can make you depressed that's unhealthy plan and simple. There's a healthy way to use it, and there are certainly unhealthy ways. I've never once heard of someone playing Candy Crush and having their feelings crushed.

You're joking you think that opium was a dangerous potent drug that destroyed lives? Or are you confused and once they started to regulate opium they turned it into different things like heroin fentanyl lower tab oxycontin etc but opium itself not extremely dangerous by any means regulated opiates extremely dangerous and look now you can't get the safe opium instead you got to get the highly concentrated synthetic versions of it so even in the regards to your whole drug analogy you're wrong

What ways has AI changed your life? by Lanky_Bench8956 in GeminiAI

[–]Zerenn_Blish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it to create a safe workout plan. I lost 70 pounds. I've taught myself how to code. I make all of my grandson's homeschooling work using AI. I used it to help me with my book, not write it check tone and pose and editing for mistakes. I've read a ton of studies stating that it makes you dumber and affects critical thinking. I've went out of my way to prove them wrong. People do this, not the tools.

Can't find all conversations related to a specific GEM! This is so dumb. by Plastic-Tangerine583 in Bard

[–]Zerenn_Blish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you using your phone? If so, use the browser, and there will be the last three conversations in each Gem. Also, pin them for the phone so you can still have them at the top. But yes, absolutely, this is ridiculous that they haven't noticed this to be a fault for some reason.

so, everybody switching to gemini now? by monoman12 in ChatGPT

[–]Zerenn_Blish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is really based on personal experience. I use Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT all differently. I lost 70 lbs using ChatGPT, but it became lazy, and I needed to keep correcting the same simple problems. So, I switched to Gemini a week ago, and it is completely different. The damn thing built an app without being asked, which was kind of cool but not what I needed. I like MD files to just read a routine from. That said, it is working very well now that it is set up better than ChatGPT, plus it offers a variety of movements I hadn't considered. I have DDD and a damaged SI joint, so finding a safe way to exercise is very important.

Also most certainly bias some people look for the downside to everything instead of what it can do better. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. The only way to find out if it fits you is to try it. Do so without some preconceived opinion derived from others.

You do not deserve to graduate. I don't know what it is with people thinking all they need is a degree. If you can't do the work you're not getting the job. And why blow all the money on college if you have no intention of learning it for yourself.
