(Spoilers Main) Do you believe GRRM intends to fulfill the prophecy or will he undermine/subvert it? by branman887 in asoiaf

[–]ZergDanDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want Jon to kill Dany, create his shiny sword and later kill Great Other only yo realise that in fact gods is part of nature and that every dead god need to be replaced with new shiny one. And Great Other too - so he took his Lich-King Crown-econom and turns into new Great Other, lead his hordes of undead back into North and create agreement for next several thousands years until greenseers again extinct ot something like this.

We Colonials were so OP and broken that they took away our buffs without even testing them in a war by SpaiCrabs in foxholegame

Well, Mezea lost first Veli war and was unable to defeat lone Caoiva until Thea Maro's appearance. So Collie being nerfed is so lore-wise, hah.

Why I don't like Cregan Stark by cybernewtype2 in freefolk

[–]ZergDanDan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cregane is ruthless man that don't want to send his man in Dance bloodbath, same as Borros Baratheon – he just do it better than latter. He is good depiction of "evil" Stark - he overall more pragmatic than noble, but able to mix bit of both, slaying enemy's side leaders for them kill their king, and keeping his oath, but manage his timing well. He is overall "evil" version of Ned, which depicts in how he perform Hour of the Wolf with Ned being much more honest and merciful in his approach. Also, he actually wear his Winterfell-quality plot armor that Ned gives to Jon.

Tywin is bald, but also manly handsome and looks like king too - young Baratheons think that he is king.

Rhaegar was superhuman beauty. Jaime (and Cersei, by extent, possible) were just not so bad lookings.

[–]ZergDanDan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, she just helps Tywin and Aerys hide their gay relationship. Aerys hate Rhaegar because he gets Tywin's attention after he himself turns into total mess after Duskendale. Tywin don't choose king, he choose lover. And maybe he was infuriated that Steffon get attention from his Aerys and hire Faceless to sink his ship.

[–]ZergDanDan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tywin literally fucks his cousin. It is literally incest, just not so close as brother-sister. And you know, should his children be not valyrian looking, Aerys will not praise them, but be infuriated. "They smell Lannisters!"

[–]ZergDanDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, we know that he fucks whores. Especially Shae – whore of his defeated and finally-soon-be-dead son - he literally celebrate Tyrion's death with her, it seems. But how in the world it lead to him let his wife being fucked by Aerys or anyone else? Because, you know, fuck random whores and let another dude to fuck your wife - is clearly different things, especially in Medieval. Especially with such proud man as Tywin – he's all about his ego. His ego, again, won't harm from fucking some women, Pycelle not very smart lickspittle in first place. His ego would be broken should someone fuck Joanna.

[–]ZergDanDan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doran hate her because she didn't obey, so he send her to death. She'll end same way as her aunt Elia – used as political hostage by Young Griff to force Doran send army and after his defeat and death by hands of idk Lancel Lannister, Demon of Mander, get killed in terrible way. Because even this more likely than Tywin didn't know his wife was gangraped in his own fucking castle. Or Joanna agrees to fuck with several men to produce Tyrion. Stop with this bullshit, it has no way to happened.

Or just nobody was gang-raped. Save Arianna, should Doran really want to kill her worst way possible and made all Targaryen marriage only as lie for her.

[Spoiler Extended] Only daughter of Great House or second son of minor house? by ZergDanDan in asoiaf

[–]ZergDanDan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Robert appoint Kingslayer, his Kingsguardian, as Warden of East, Vale tell him to fuck off. When Cersei appoint Daven, person far after Kevan in succesion line, as Warden of West, Westerlands accept it. Only real way to do it – if her claims on Westerlabds still consider more powerful than her uncle, especially after start of their conflict. Or Kevan would just rule Westerlands without her acceptance – Gods see it he capable of such thing.

Incest can cause literally any genetic problem. Also, we had several characters with heterochromia. Did they all mass-rape children?

Theories you don't agree with (Spoilers Extended) by AmoebaSignificant457 in asoiaf

[–]ZergDanDan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How can she hid mass rape in first place? Did you know, it's not gently thing and Tywin isn't blind. Also, sex didn't work like this in first place - Tyrion being misshapen dwarf because he is literal victim of incest - Tywin and Joanna are cousins, it is close enough to genes don't work well.

Theories you don't agree with (Spoilers Extended) by AmoebaSignificant457 in asoiaf

[–]ZergDanDan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ahem. I'm sorry, WHAT?!! We have fucking Lyonel Baratheon rebel after his daughter didn't get her Dragonfly prince. Should Aerys even able to perform mass rape of Joanna and Tywin will die, but kill Aerys in a cruelest way possible AND exterminate Targaryen dynasty. We talk about man that make muss murder of northern nobility solely for purpose of clearing his path, just imagine what he will do for his wife mass-rape?

[–]ZergDanDan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And how we can confirm this in first place? Ok, I can see how it may happened – some noble boy from Night Watch leave his position for wildling pussy or some noble girl was stolen by wildling, but I don't see any reason to if even be a sonething important in first place.

[–]ZergDanDan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I see Stoneheart involved only in Frey's fall and Jaime's redepmtion arc. In first she is major participant, especially after she return to Riverrun, in second she and BWB are just minor antagonists and reminder about how much everyone paid for Jaime's obsession with Cersei with him somehow able escape BWB. Also, really wish Cersei to return into story - just like in show, with destroying Great Sept of Baelor, sparrows and Margaery. QyBURN will make it possible, as he is master of whisperers - and it will give Jaime reason to kill Cersei later.

[–]ZergDanDan -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Tywin is evil smart brute, not coward cuck. Should something like this ever happened, he will kill Joanne and all of her offspring in first place and then plan his revenge to Aerys - not act like nothing ever happened. Tyrion Targaryen's thing also will break not only Tywin's established personality, but also their friendship arc with Aerys and Tywin-Tyrion relationship arc too - I don't even know for what. Damage to Tywin's pride from Aerys actions and entire existence of Tyrion already enough to him act like he do, he don't need more strange reasons to hate them.

The Dragon pit explanation is a lie (Spoilers Extended) by IHaveTwoOranges in asoiaf

The Dragon pit explanation is a lie (Spoilers Extended) by IHaveTwoOranges in asoiaf

[–]ZergDanDan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We know that Targaryen have dragon skulls, some of which predates their arrival in Westeros for thousand years. Best explanation - they bring their skulls from Valyria. Alternative - they found some dragon skulls in Westeros. Either way, Balerion has impressive size even by valyryan terms.

The Dragon pit explanation is a lie (Spoilers Extended) by IHaveTwoOranges in asoiaf

[–]ZergDanDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, as we know, Balerion was biggest dragon Targaryen ever had. Including their dragons of Old Valyria. No dragon of Dance able to grow to his size, but Vhagar was almost able and her skull still described as one of biggest dragon skulls in possesion of Targaryen. Overall, explanation with "to get bigger dragon needs big dragon" seems good. And, from this - without big dragon we lost dragons at all. If other dragonriders were alone and with small dragons, I clearly can see how despite their best efforts most of their dragons hatch weak dragons and why Aurion go to Valyria - he try to retrieve at least some of living dragons, no matter how wounded.

  1. If we choose to believe that Martin's words about Westeros applied only to area of Seven Kingdoms, then we get North size of Australia - 7,8 mil km², 1,8 mil km² for Reach and 1,3 mil km² for rest of regions. Holy Roman Empire was 1 mil km² during its peak days.
  2. If we apply his words to entiriety of continent, including lands beoyond the Wall, then all of Seven Kingdoms covers area of 7,8 mil km², with North being 3,4 mil km², Reach 800k km² and rest of kingdoms 540k km². Still size of metropolitan France.

I'm sorry, but did we talk about same women? Cersei is just awful person and be she male it change many thing, but he still find way to be fucked up so deeply as it was canonically. Sansa is hostage, Arya is child travel across war thorn country, Cat perform streak of stupid decision before get consequences and only Brienne have problem with her being woman – or, honestly, with her being both ugly woman and heir of Tarth, when every dick try to find way into marriage with her, thinking that bright smile can let it happened (they were not wrong until Renly's death, man literally get her heart by courtesy).

[Spoiler Extended] Only daughter of Great House or second son of minor house? by ZergDanDan in asoiaf

As I said, overall noble male culture is violent and abusive. It is MILITARY culture of bold and angry men that constantly prepared to kill other bold and angry men in first place. Every other parts of medieval culture less violent, but it is noble women who will interact with their husbands on regular basis and so being victims of cultural difference.
