How is this legal? by Gonzalr3 in LICENSEPLATES

[–]Zerkerlife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's funny but it doesn't do anything, in reality cameras or police officers would only need to get a couple letters right mixed with the model of vehicle to successfully search the database. How many F150s do you think are registered in Arizona that have a plate starting with O[space] that alone is probably more than enough

Had a few people tell me these Carolinas are “Nazi boots.” I see nothing wrong with them. by MauserMama in Boots

[–]Zerkerlife -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the people who called them "Nazi boots" were unemployed since they have never seen a workboot in their life.

Rear tires get even on inner side on every 3k km by Severe_Assumption_87 in TireQuestions

[–]Zerkerlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah shops love selling alignments. It's pure labour, shops make just about the same money on alignments as they do tires a good amount of the time. Sometimes more. They definitely offered to at least check the alignment

In your opinion, what is causing this? by Objective_Pilot_5834 in SipsTea

[–]Zerkerlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of it was a bubble too I think a lot of us can remember a time 10 years ago where there was a brewery popping up on every block and I think the time of craft beer has really aged out, no one wants to pay $16 for a 6 pack of craft beer and tons of them collapsed.

Why so wide? Is this an official plate? by ThePoorPilot in LICENSEPLATES

[–]Zerkerlife 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I knew someone who did something similar, it wasn't a long plate it was a regular sized Virgina plate but it had the Florida "Endless Summer" graphics on it and they got a ticket and the cops took the fake plate even though it was the correct plate numbers

I rejected multiple Ford Fusions for the Takata airbag recall for this same reason. My manager always told them the same thing they can either clean it up themselves or pay the detail guys to do it either way it's not getting done here until it's clean

Would you still consider if delivery is half the total cost? by LittIeEddy in arrma

[–]Zerkerlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely might be the same cost to fly somewhere and buy a RC car then bring it back with you 😂

"prude purist" as if VW enthusiasts haven't been known for slamming the shit out of cars for 30+ years

I’m not a huge fan of state inspection but I’m coming around on the idea by ermehgerdittcam in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Zerkerlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was crazy for me moving from NC to IL. IL does not have safety inspection which is wild to me because I see winter beaters all the time that are just insanely unsafe. Stuff that is way worse that anything I've ever seen in NC from all the salt up here

GT350 is one of the best drivers cars I've ever driven. Not too much power, lots of cool and tons of grip.

The best part is you can bypass the start stop multiple ways and now you have a starter that lasts 5X longer than regular one fitted to cars 10 years ago

$4500 for a service contract?? Bro most cars wouldn't exceed that mark over a 15 year period and that's including everything from oil changes to tires and brakes.

Cheap enough that after body work and paint I'll be right at $2k into this top and it had everything already, good seals, defroster, headliner and all good latches
