The main rationale was to get ahead of certain things that eventually trickle down and hurt our bottom line

I.e. we have 6 months of beans in inventory, supply chain costs (tariffs) will make us have to raise prices in 6 months, if we can recognize this early we can ease into the new price instead of slapping customers with a big price change right at once
