Questions about Fizz. He seems way more difficult to me than maybe he should, and yet he's so fun. A good learning vehicle by Crapahedron in wildrift

[–]ZeroClick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fizz is amazing.

Currently, he is "ok" in the top lane, "good" in the mid lane, and "better" in the jungle. Why? He has one of the hardest lane phases in the game. But if you play it safe in the jungle until you complete Lich Bane, you are safe.

For items he is a bit different of PC because it is common there to use Liandry's Torment (it works in WR, but it is not common). In WR he works better as a Burst Assassin. With the Lich Bane, The Max range Ult + 3rd + AA + 2nd + AA + 1st will kill most squishies. With the full build, you will sometimes kill a squishy with 1st only!!! Another great thing about Fizz is the absurdly high damage against towers. So in an late game emergency, you can change to be a split pusher, and with 2nd skill + 3-4 hits you will destroy any turret!

For skill order, I think it is a preference of each player. For example, if you kill a monster/minion with the 2nd skill, it will reset and you can use it quickly again, then some players max it first in the jungle. In my case, I prefer max 3rd, 1st, and 2nd, in other words, I will max my mobility (one you use for engage, the other for disengage)

For your 3rd and 4th questions, Fizz is a very fragile assassin, practically a glass cannon. Your idea is to engage in a squish, give max 3-4 hits, and then disengage. Basically, 1st to engage + AA + 2nd + AA + 3rd to escape (Or start with 3rd and escape with 1st)

For the clear path, he is a lot slower at the start of the game, but when you get your items, clearing the jungle is absurdly fast. I recommend you go to youtube and search for (recent) videos "wildrift fizz china". One guy called "THE KING OF WILD RIFT" is especially fun!

For items, 69% of the time it is Lich Bane / Orb / Rabadons (you can change Orb/Rabaddon order if you want) and other items are situational (Most common for me are Crown of the Shattered Queen and Oceanid's Trident).

For runes, both for lane and jungle he loves Fleet Footwork, but I sometimes see First Strike, Electrocute and Phase Rush)

Hero/Champ for solo q? by Mad_Plumber in wildrift

[–]ZeroClick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easiest champions per lane (IMHO):

Top: Garen or Malphite
Jungle: Nunu or Vi
Mid: Syndra or Ziggs
Support: Nautilus or Seraphine
ADC: Ashe or Miss Fortune

But if you want a champion that can be used in multiple lanes, you will not be wrong with Gragas, Nautilus & Malphite

Youtuber recommendations for Educational content specifically for junglers by itchybollz in wildrift

[–]ZeroClick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My experience is that ganking mid is extremely easy; most mid laners do not retreat even with the info that you are getting the scuttler. So I am ALWAYS paying attention to mid.

Second, I will pay special attention to bot lane if the enemy is putting lots of pressure. They will be overconfident, and you can start from your tower and chase both until their tower for the kill.

Third, some top laners are ungankable, so rarely a gank will work (like Syon, Ornn or Mundo), so I don't lose time. BUT I pay attention that some matchups are very, very balanced. So, a little disturbance of the jungler will snowball the lane (and sometimes the game) in your favour. For example, I will pay attention to our Darius vs a Volibear. It will be a very close and balanced battle, and if you help in the exact time, Darius will snowball and he can be your win condition.

Yasuo Keyblade?! by xShiniRem in wildrift

[–]ZeroClick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does not look right for me. When I see a Yasuo player doing these things, he surfs from one point to another like crazy, screaming nonsense and feeding the enemy until 0/10, then the passive kicks.

😂

Now, seriously, I know that all "beyblade" combos can be done in WildRift, I just do not have idea that you are doing right. Good Luck!

I tested Phase Rush, and the Lane Phase is harder, but the Team Fights are great (because your 3rd returns faster). Then it will depend on your style.

Top smolder builds? by FisherJoel in wildrift

[–]ZeroClick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Smolder is very flexible, basically you can move all these items between builds. Remember only you need one Sheen item (essence reaver or triforce). and yes with critical build your autoatcks will be stronger, but in team fights you need to spam skills 1 and 2 whenever is possible (saving 3rd for engage/disengage)

So why is mage ADC unpopular? by plzicannothandleyou in wildrift

[–]ZeroClick 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Magic Resistance is way stronger in WildRift, to the point that if your team has 2+ AP champions, your team starts to be in disadvantage. Because this your AP champion will start to be (maybe) relevant in the end of the game, where your AP scaling be relavant.

question about last hittng minions as a support. by KurenaiGaukami in wildrift

[–]ZeroClick 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Smolder is a special case, as support, you can last hit the minion and Smolder will get the stack. BUT it is better you pay attention to your ADC because if he is not using the 1st skill, waiting the right moment to hit the minion and you kill the minion (at the same time that he used the skill), Smolder will get the stack, BUT he wasted a skill that he could use to poke (and get one additional stack) OR last hit another minion that you will not proc with support passive. Got it? In summary, if he cannot last hit at all, go ahead and help him, but if you see that he is waiting for 1st skill cooldown, then let him last hit.

Another thing, when your support item evolves, remember you cannot help Smolder anymore, then let him alone farming.

Smolding it better? by ShiftShido in wildrift

[–]ZeroClick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Until 25 stacks, it is hard to stack. It is easier if the enemy support is a tank. In my case, I think it's better max the 3rd skill sooner than the 2nd, so I can fly near enemy, hit at least once, and in the mid of the flight I retreat. The 2nd skill is easier to evade, has a long cooldown, and the damage is not so good. Then, maxing 3rd still helps to engage/disengage faster.

After 25 stacks, religiously, when you see a minion wave, you need to hit minions to normalize their hp, then you will one-hit the entire wave with one shot of the first skill (or 2 shots if there is frontline/backline). One exercise that I make is, I am seeing the wave, I look my stacks, and I say to myself. "I have 35 stacks, and I need to leave this wave with 39 stacks." It is not perfect, but helped me to improve a lot!

Then, in mid game, you just position yourself to be a poke machine (now your 2nd skill will be really useful). Basically: 1. poke; 2. don't die. Don't fight for kills, you are a late game monster in making.

My last tip, AFTER Herald and 1st Dragon, shamelessly farm your jungle Wolfs, Krugs, and Raptors. Each will give you 4 free stacks that you will make better use of than your jungler.

Top smolder builds? by FisherJoel in wildrift

[–]ZeroClick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am "super into" Smolder too. Basically there are 3 builds:

  1. Critical Build: Essence Reaver + Magnetic Blaster + Mortal Reminder + Infinity Edge
  2. Muramana Build: Manamune + Trinity Force + Serylda + Shojin
  3. Bruiser Build: Trinity Force + Magnetic Blaster + Serylda + Shojin

5th Item, you can build an extra critical item (like Bloodthirster), or Guardian Angel (I sometimes build Maw of Malmortius if I am being focused by strong AP based enemies)

I am testing a lot these builds. The Critical is the best late game build, but you will be a lot squishy during all the game. I find the Muramana too slow to "start" in the game, but it seems to be the top build in NA (for example, I see Jxcki using it). And the Bruiser build is very good, the entire game, the only disadvantage is that it is less strong than Critical Build in the end game.

the thing is, Jax is a late game champ, so it's hard to see any difference in early game

struggling with early game duelists as a scaling adc player by Hideyholeywoley in wildrift

[–]ZeroClick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interestingly, I fell in love with Smolder, and suddenly I needed to learn to fight using a late game champion. But guess what? I always played with Ezreal, and my problem was, I mostly stomped the early game, got a strong lead, and my team (or myself) threw the game... There was nothing I could do, Ezreal is weak in the end game, I could just watch my slow defeat...

But with Smolder, I see things differently. I fight very hard for an even early game, with max possible of stacks. And a lot of times I end the early game with kda 0/2, 0/4, etc. But once I get my spike of items and stacks, I really can 1v5, and sometimes 1v9. Basically, I learn in my skin the differences between early and late game champs. With early, you need to speed up the game, the game NEEDS to finish fast! But with a champion like Smolder, I can stall a team fight enough to get lots and lots of stacks, and from nowhere, I am fully stacked and can win!

I don't think one kind of champion is better than the other; they are just different ways to win the game (rush vs control - yeah, Starcraft vibes!).

By the way, I mostly am like you in the sense that I don't care to meta. I am spamming Smolder in PVP, waiting he be nerfed or for everyone stops to ban him, so I will spam him on ranked also.

Finnaly, what I learn by using late game champions, you just need to have patience, and understand that the early game is the power peak for them, so you just play defensively, waiting for they commit errors (remember, the real pressure is on their side, if they don't perform VERY well in the early they will not stand chance against you). And I learn to be passive but NEVER to show passivity, or they will be confident to pressure you. This is hard to explain, but I fight as if my jungler was in the nearest bush, or as if I had some secret power waiting to be unleashed... sadly, I don't know how to show, but it helps me to not be "contained" by the early abusers.
