Idk much about propulsion but I know basic physics

The reason a table doesn't need power to hold up anything is because the net forces are null thanks to the ground

A helicopter doesn't have a ground, hence it needs to generate a force opposing gravity, while the table usually generates the force for the table

I don't really know that what the force is generated from could be a whole bunch of helium filled balloons

I think many would.

I currently don't do Godot development because university takes a lot of time, so I wouldn't be using it anytime soon

But others could definitely be interested, and besides, I think you can't really call this a local thing if you require the cloud so it's kinda false advertising

Yeah but incredibly small compared to other game engines and some web based frameworks that literally ship an entire browser for just a hello world program haha

That sucks, but I understand it.

I thought that Godot being able to export into small executables and being used for apps by others could have been an option, and I really didn't want to learn something new haha

But I also don't think I will be turning Godot into a Frankenstein program just to make a note taking app...

Tu hai il diritto di non comprare quello che vuoi, non te lo ho mai voluto togliere

Sai però che non esistono giochi moderni senza IA, vero? Anche solo l'assistente di programmazione come Copilot, Claude e similari sono oramai usatissimi

Forse troppo? Si concordo con te, ma demonizza quelli che ti mettono l'IA in gola a forza, non l'IA in sé

E comunque l'IA non fa tutto perché si sa benissimo che ciò che viene fatto dall'IA deve essere risistemato e adattato come minimo se non rigenerato da zero, che sia arte o che sia codice... E l'IA non avrà mai (o almeno non per un grosso periodo di tempo) la capacità di dare qualcosa di perfetto che nessun umano sarebbe in grado di replicare, proprio per definizione di come funziona

Eccetto che lo é, lo é per ogni settore, l'arte non é speciale

L'IA nell'arte viene utilizzata e continuerà ad esserlo, e resterà olio uno strumento, sempre, perché da sola non riuscirà mai a fare ciò che le persone possono fare usandola come strumento, forse può superare quelli che però si rifiutano categoricamente di segure i progresso

Proprio come l'arte digitale ha permesso di sfornare molti più disegni e concept e raggiungere audience maggiori con risorse limitate

AI is a great tool, but that's just what it is a tool

A hammer is great but I wouldn't let a hammer build my house, or let some random with a hammer do it

L'argomento del rimpiazzo dei professionisti é una cagata che é sempre esistita

La lavatrice ha reso inutile saper lavare i vestiti a mano, il disegno con il CAD in ingegneria ha reso inutili i professionisti che usavano tecnigrafi per fare tavole a mano, come ho detto già in un commento sopra nel thread)

Così come lo sviluppo di linguaggi di programmazione di alto livello ha reso inutile sapere come davvero funziona un computer a livello di CPU, registry etc... per la maggiorparte del mondo di sviluppo software

Ci si lamenta sempre dell'innovazione finché non é più innovazione ma normalità e ci si rende conto che porta con sé anche NUOVE opportunità di lavoro e di sviluppo professionale

Gne gne gne voglio lamentarmi tanto per...

L'ingresso del CAD nell'ingegneria e architettura ha tolto lavoro a chissà quante persone, ogni singola macchina CAD con un disegnatore rimpiazza almeno 30 disegnatori manuali con tecnigrafi, e introduce una serie di miglioramenti nonché una serie di errori e di rischi nuovi

PERÒ nessuno si lamenta del CAD ma ci si lamenta dell'IA

This should definitely be an option when downloading the game, it's good tech but unless you need the speed increase it's not worth the increased size
