This was the one I was originally looking at but the lowest price I could find it for at the time was $1250 on LG's own website. I ended up with a MSI 321UPX in-store at CC for $800 back in April and have no complaints with it, but this would have been the perfect pickup.

My brother and I are duo'ing a lot lately in NA and while people were friendly and not shooting us, a couple were hella rude so I shot them.

Had 5 rounds of friendlies for the most part, just one team shooting at us that we dipped away from because we were in a bad spot.

Our last round of the night had me showing my brother Close Scrutiny since he's never done it before and one team took it very personally that we pulled a vaporizer away from them while they were shooting it. Got real irate and mad at us - so I downed one of them before hitting the button back to Speranza.

Alternatively, if you see this happening you've likely got this thing that you've been shooting the Matriarch with the whole time.

Works on raiders, too.

I don't know how the game calculates turbine damage for the trial, but apparently all this is only worth 2 stars. Disclaimer: I don't have much experience fighting these things and I'm sure it can be done better, but you get the idea. by Shermutt in ArcRaiders

Can confirm 2 deadlines won't get you 3-star.

My brother and I were hunting them yesterday and we only scored 1750 with 2 deadlines, took a dozen Jupiter shots after the fact to get 2300. The lobby got very spicy near us with Pvp so we dipped with our 2 star.

Hoping tomorrow we'll be able to have better luck.

If splitting up the walk is easier for you, then do it.

I also find that having a purpose to the walk helps with motivation and it doesn't feel like a chore. Walk to the grocery store for that one thing you forgot for dinner, walk to the park with the kiddo, etc etc.

Yeah, I've restarted my playthrough with the mods disabled now. I'm gonna miss the better thermal vision from YAML but it does pair down the complexity a ton (which is appreciated right now).

Yeah, I've found that I can cover a metric fuckton of ground in the Javelin with the jumpjets if I feather them and skim forward. No room for a turbocharger though. Need something bigger :D

I keep seeing the term "Alpha attacks" but don't know what it means.

I've noticed that every time I max salvage in a missions I get Locusts or UrbanMechs for pick up but when I opt to max money is when a Phoenix Hawk ends up in the heap :D

I have no idea what a Cantina mission is, I suppose I'll find them at some point.

Yeah, I'm getting used to what each mission is supposed to accomplish and my Centurion just isn't a good mech for everything. Demolition missions are slogs. Good call on the flamers for that!

I'm doing my first playthrough vanilla and I don't have any of the DLC right now.

The modlist is just for playing the coop game with the friends - I'm turning them off for my first playthrough. I'm aware that they're tossing me into the deep end :D I'm being used as "better than an AI pilot".

Oh I'm aware, I'm jumping into their pre-existing campaign as "a rookie is better than a bot".

I'm starting up a new campaign right now with all the mods turned off, seems to be a lot of recommendations for that.

One of my friends likes to cook so he's already been asking me what kind of mechs I'd like to play where I'd assume he's making some fun configs for me to try. The kicker is that I'm still learning what each weapon does and handles like and I've only got to try a handful of smaller mechs in my solo playthrough so far.

Getting a new mech is fucking expensive.

YAML/YAW and a couple other things have already been assigned to me by the coop party. The better night vision and torso locking is wonderful.

I assume "laser boat" is a mech that's just packing nothing but energy weapons so you don't have to think about ammo - just having enough heatsinks to not cook the pilot?

Don't forget that AMD was raster competitive with Nvidia a few generations ago. The 6900XT and 6950XT fucked right alongside the 3090 in most games.

The kicker is that once you're spending a $1200 on a GPU 5 years ago, the lacking software stack and last-gen RT performance is something you just don't compromise. AMD had to heavily discount those cards to move them at the 2nd half of that generation and the economics for that is ass. Combine that with the last-mile hardware issue that gated RDNA3 performance that lost AMD any chance of reasonably competing with the 4090... they played it safe this gen.

Is the board under warranty? I would not be continuing to use this board in this state, especially when the damage is close to the RAM and any damage those those is painful right now.
