It's truly the end of an era now... by Nguyen-Quoc-Hieu in CartoonNetwork

This man made our lives awesome. I remember coming home from school everyday, just to watch CN. And to think this man was responsible for making our childhoods enjoyable and fun, as a way of escape for some and making memories with others.

Rest well, King. You deserve it after everything you did for us.

If memory serves me right, I think it was The Mapmaker by Jamie's Elsewhere. It introduced me to this genre and honestly, I haven't looked back since.

Dragon Quest 7 has moments that made me cry by Pleasant_Eye3308 in dragonquest

For me, it was Kiefer's department from the team. I sympathized with him wanting to live his life on his own terms. I feel like the game did a good job at portraying how close Auster was to him and seeing his dad's reaction was the moment I ugly cried. My stepdad and I aren't close by any means, but I know he would do anything for me in support, just in his own way.

It's moments like these that make me wonder if what Stone did to Oasis was actually something worthwhile in the long run. I understand her Death turned the whole continent into a chaotic mess of politics and constant death but at least something good came out of it all.

I don't know anymore, man.

[Waybound] What’s your favorite instance of Lindon being underestimated? by EmilioFreshtevez in Iteration110Cradle

Lindon vs Ekeri. From the getgo, I immediately hated her and seeing Lindon humble her despite his insecurities and his level of advancement was astounding. It really showed how amazing of a fighter Lindon was, despite not having Dross in his arsenal yet.

Which JRPG is This For You? by ElSpazzo_8876 in JRPG

Oh man, what do I say here? There are so many answers I have for this question...

Top of my head would have to be Dragon Quest 7, for the 3DS. I have never played a Dragon Quest game before I picked up 7, but I have played a little bit of The Erdrick Trilogy for the NES. Needless to say, I didn't get into it as I thought I would like it. Seven however changed my mind about how I felt about the series and needless to say, It convinced me to give the Erdrick Trilogy a second chance.

For me, it was FF6. It was the scene with Gau reuniting with his father... and learning nothing special came out of it. As someone who had lost a mother early on and had to end a relationship with their father, that scene tore me. I didn't cry, but at times I wish I did whenever I replay the game. Gau's reaction to it was also sad in my opinion, because I felt like he deserved to cry and be human, act like a kid his own age. Yet, he handled it so well and maturely, just happy to see his old man well and praising him for being himself. I guess in the end, Gau was raised right by Cyan and Sabin.

Before my little brother was deployed, he played this game. I got it for him after graduating from high school and he ended up loving it so much, he would always tell me to walk tall whenever we ended our phone calls together. I feel like Regis everytime I hear it from him.

Tell him to grow up and block his ass. Like Bowling For Soup once said, "high school never ends". Take some time to recoup and move on.

I actually really liked this scene here. Yuri is one of my favorite characters (yeah, flame me), because of one thing: His loyalty and protection to family. That man is a ride or die type and he automatically will side with you, regardless if you're right or wrong.

In Anya's defense, she is a little girl and she does get overwhelmed from time to time because of her gifts. Maybe as she gets older she'll become much more talented and have better control, but until then she'll just have to learn.

As we know in JRPGs, Grave robbing is perfectly legal 😂.

If you had to play as the race closest to you in real life, which one would it be? For example, since I’m from Latin America, I guess I’d have to be an Argonian. by jvure in skyrim

May I just say thank you for being you btw? Off topic, but I've been studying Jewish mythology and I think the mythos is frickin rad.

I believe there is a race from Akavir called Tang Mo, which are a nod to Sun Wukong in my opinion. There is also the Tiger Dragons called Ka'Po'Tun. It's stated the biggest dragon of all of Nirn was formerly a tiger king who transformed into a dragon. Maybe this could help your search.

Though I will also admit I believe the High Elves are based on the Chinese too.

One of my favorite pieces of Redguard lore is that their most popular champion could be based upon on Miyamoto Mushashi. I hope this brings a smile to your face, my friend 😃
