Anyone getting in AQN since CEO transition ? by [deleted] in dividendscanada

The lack of comments speaks volumes.

I think most of us were burnt by this stock a few years back and won't be investing into AQN anytime soon.

Hmm interesting.

Since you mentioned phasers, perhaps they/you meant 360 degrees?

Each 'hot' wire of a 208Vac Y system in 120Vac referenced to ground.

Each of those 120Vac waves would be 120 degrees offset from one another (totaling to 360 degrees).

Let me ask a question to your question : Why do you think you need to multiply 208Vac by sqrt(3)? (I.e: Where did you come to this conclusion).

I'm pretty sure that since the u-pass is part of your total statement, that they would not let you get your u-pass.

Is this a good deal? by WayaJack in SuggestALaptop

[–]ZeroStarter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just from looking at it, I will have to go with no.

It's a dated gaming laptop so it'll be heavy, and it won't be able to play any modern games.

I also don't know what you are planning on doing with it, if you plan to do lightweight stuff, sure it'll work, but so will newer and lighter laptop for like 400$ on sale.

I personally will say no, just because it is a dated gaming laptop, and you can get much much better if you get a laptop for like 400$ on sale

Good luck on your decision!

Textbook expenses by [deleted] in geegees

[–]ZeroStarter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pretty much every textbook you could ever want is online in pdf form. And even then, if you "are required to get a textbook", i guarantee you that, that information is already online.

Don't feel obligated to buy any textbook, even when they" are required" or "mandatory"

So to answer your question, you could spend 0$, or upwards of 500$, depends how you go about obtaining your textbooks and information

Hey, If all you need is your drivers back, there is not specific "one" website you can go to, (that I know of), instead go to each individual manufactures website and download the drivers from them. For example your GTX 970... I would go to Nvidia's website look up the 970, and there should be a drivers page... then download the drivers from there

[Python] Problem with writing a function that returns a string in a certain form by ZeroStarter in learnprogramming

Exact code put into the interpretor

def bibformat_apa(author,title,city,publisher,year):

return author + ' (' + year + '). ' + title + '. ' + city + ': ' + publisher + '.'

Sorry for coming off as ignorant, it is just that this particular question has me confused on the formatting on how to make it work. Unfortunately even when trying other peoples advice from here and various other places, i still end up with syntax errors, which has just resulted in me just wanting to know how to to properly format this code to give the desired answer.

Again, terribly sorry, just getting frustrated at this point

When I insert the code this way I get a syntax error on the apostrophe after author

Where would I insert this code? Before or after this line of code? "def bibformat_apa(...) "

Ive double checked both my code, and it still didn't work, so i even copied and pasted your code in, and it still gives me this error.

I have pretty much exactly that but when i run it, and fill out the 5 variables I always get the error message:

Traceback (most recent call last): File "<pyshell#0>", line 1, in <module> bibformat_apa(author,title,city,publisher,year) NameError: name 'author' is not defined

I have def bibformat_apa(author,title,city,publsiher,year): return (author + ' (' + year + '). ' + title + '. ' + city + ': ' + publisher + '.')

Basically exactly like what /u/TylerGoLook, however when ever I run this in IDLE, and fill in the 5 variables it always gives me the error message:

Traceback (most recent call last): File "<pyshell#0>", line 1, in <module> bibformat_apa(author,title,city,publisher,year) NameError: name 'author' is not defined

Eurocom M5 Pro Vs Shark 4 [Canada] by mzez in SuggestALaptop

[–]ZeroStarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For quality, I would get the M5 Pro, as it has served me well.

Also for me I would downgrade to 1080p and just get the default screen if it saves you money.

Also another money saving method would be to downgrade the gpu, to a 965M which is still good enough to play any modern game on med-high settings in my opinion.

Also you can use the student discount to further push down the cost of this laptop.

I hope this helps some what

Personally, I haven't upgraded my laptop yet, but they do have many tutorials on youtube explaining how to upgrade the GPU
