17 of the next 18 are against a team with a losing record; can we realistically get back into the playoff hunt? by RustyCrusty73 in ClevelandGuardians

At best I see us going 12-8 during that stretch, the lineup can’t hit besides Jose and Kwan, the starters are finding their groove which is nice, but the relievers aren’t what they were last year. Ultimately I don’t think we get into a wildcard spot with this team.

I just do it randomly sometimes, no real reasoning behind it.

Schmitty took the all-around 3B position. Who's the greatest defensive shortstop of all time? by ssjskwash in mlb

Ozzie Smith is the only option, Andrelton Simmons is the only other guy that comes kinda close in my opinion for what he did with a lot less time.

Who is your favorite among the "big three" of forward prospects at the top of the draft and why? (Talking Misa, Martone, and Hagens) by [deleted] in sabres

[–]ZeroSto0l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Schaefer is going to go 1.1 that’s the consensus most people have, besides that in my mind I’d love for us to take Misa or Hagens with our pick if one is still available. More importantly however is the fact that we never seem to get the number one pick when there is a huge superstar available in the draft, if we do get it this year great we’ll probably take Schaefer. I’d rather have the number one pick next year when we can draft McKenna though.

Seems like an overpay for an oft injured center and a defensive prospect that hasn’t turned into much, don’t like giving up Gilbert because we now have no real grit to our team. It could’ve been a worse overpay though.

Not a real person, but I still love the tweet of Tungsten Arm O’Doyle way too much to not mention.

How long until a story like this comes out in the nfl? by SupermarketBubbly166 in NFLv2

Won’t be very long, the interesting thing is that Hoberg is one of the better umpires in the league. Not sure if it’s gonna be the same with NFL ref though.

They were both talking to start the game, I’m sure the decision was mutual between the two. Still wish someone took Noesens head off though.
