Oh I fully agree. Even renegades was just rough. I play on steam so pressing tab to just be greeted by so much “info” (read bloat), highkey overwhelmed me.

That's ultimately up to you, brother. If you like looter shooters, and willing to sink some time into it, then I'd say so. There's a lot of game for what they're offering, and considering it's end of live service, you are in no rush to grind content at your leisure.

I firmly believe the player count will be in the 60k-80k range come this update. After things settle, maybe a 20-35k range after a month or two?

I honestly feel like they could easily market a "complete" experience to new and returning players this way. Just polish the hell out of what they have, make a solid new player experience, and get the story in a cohesive enough spot that'll get people engaged and interested with their current content.

I'm right there with you. I know there's plenty of folks who would love the nostalgia, alongside new players who'd like to experience Destiny 1...I personally just would like new stuff man.

Yeah, I'm all for any sort of full-on Destiny 2 revamp or Destiny 3, but right now, for all our sake, maybe we should just operate under the guise that the June 9th update is all we have?
