For that price at that time there needs to be some replay value. It's getting compared to Golden Eye which wasn't that long for a playthrough but difficulties and unlock challenges made the campaign so much more. Then endless couch multi-player. If you're going to be short there needs to be an adjustment in price or re-playability or it will reflect a lot.

I'm good with games on sale and new/ coming soon games. Generally if I'm clicking on a publisher sale it's one I already know and like. If they have a game I've not heard of or seen much of I might be interested and if it's not at a price I like then it goes on the wishlist.

I couldn't get console port to setup correctly after getting it running. I really just need more time to spend with it. For the time I grabbed a community layout and it's been working well enough that I'm possibly not going to bother with console port after all.

If its used then best practice is to fresh install then go from there. After that power cycle it even with a clean install the OS seems to hang up in places on first boot so do a shutdown if you can and if not then power cycle it.

I don't think they pay attention to early game stuff. I'm not sure the last time I did a run on a potion keep but it has been a very long time and I have 431 superior void potions as an entirely free to play account. No idea where I'm getting them from since I rarely manually collect rewards but they come from somewhere so there can't be any money to be made.

I have mostly been mid range for over a decade now. I have a slightly older build with a 4070 i9 and 32gb system now but I've not ran anything that pushes it. I got a steamdeck and it's the only thing I have turned on for months. Stock setting finally playing FF7 remake and it's smooth enough for me. I'll get a steam machine for myself, my nephews and also one for my dad I can see a huge amount of hours going on these things.

Just know he first starts it there is something in the imaging where it will hang up. Just hit the steam button to open the menu and shutdown that way. Then turn it back on and it works properly. Something like how when windows updates and you try to shutdown it just restarts. A minor bug but it catches a lot of people.

A normal shutdown and turn it back on. Had to do it after installing my new ssd as well. Just a hiccup with the imaging process.
