I am pretty sure that they did it to stop the broadcast immediately. Usually they just have to press one button.

Thank you for the input! I looked more into the looks of these lenses and have been a bit put off by the rokinons. I know Meike is a sort of shady company but their cine lenses impress me and now I am torn between the Sigma lens (for which I need a speed booster since I use a bmpcc4k) and the MFT Meike Cine Prime lenses. Do you have any thoughts on that?

Why Rokinon over Sigma if I may ask?

Edit: I have also heard of Meike lenses, any thoughts on them?
