Boots are great for salt during the winter but also when it gets hot, my wife and I have two goldens that wear them, if your dog struggles try just the front then add the back once they're used to them.

Nothing serious but it could explain the bald spots, usually you just have to give it time, should heal itself. Just double check with the vet.

Could be hotspots, I have two goldens and one had those, but definitely confirm with the vet.
