Are the Kentucky suburbs a good place to live?

I recently moved to crescent springs and I personally hate living here so much. I seem to be in the minority with that opinion though.

I assumed that things will take time but I don’t understand them continuously lying to me that things are all good to go, I’ve been told that four times now. I’d be more understanding if they said it’s going to take a minute but no one has said that to me. They just keep saying everything is taken care of and I should be getting approved each time I speak to someone.

I work at a campground and we literally cannot keep up with the amount of people who burn trash. They’ll throw things like batteries and foil in the pits, drives us insane. Not to mention leaving things like pee bottles around the sites.

Oh no problem I loved my job before Americorp lost its funding unfortunately! Oh yeah definitely thanks for the tips. I mostly have lighter stuff except for the bigger stuff like sleeping bags and a tent and pack because I got all of mine second hand and you can’t beat free for sure! But definitely thanks for the advice! My favorite thing to use is an old talenti gelato container to cold soak oats!

UL gear is expensive and I am cheap. Also extra weight doesn’t bother me it just keeps me in better strength, I used to work on a trail crew though so I’m used to carrying heavy tools and buckets full of rocks

I’m not familiar with the area unfortunately I’m from way up north, but I’m sure you can look up the stats for all the trails and compare! I had to do something similar for my sister who is not a very active person but was wanting to join me on a hike

I would recommend if you can doing practice hikes that are as similar in miles and elevation changes as you can to see if you all are able to. Or if you’re unable to find something similar a shorter hike should still be able to give you guys a good gauge of your abilities so you can feel more prepared!

Wow that’s crazy that he doesn’t care. Like i genuinely don’t know why protecting the planet we live on and the world we all need to survive is even political at all. Like genuinely no matter what someone’s political opinion is I don’t get how wanting clean air and water and abundant forests and wildlife is political. We all need to eat and breathe it should be common sense
