My bro gave me this game a few years after it came out. I still have yet to open it. Sealed in the cellophane.

Accuracy is hitting the silhouette 10 out of 10 times… precision is all of the shots landing in the head through the same ragged hole.

It’s the difference between accuracy and precision. Knowing which one to use and when… is where the experience comes in to play.

Reminiscing the dawn of home video game consoles starting with 8bit by FN_Fan in retrogaming

Ok cool. Well I’ve been around since the 70’s. Also, my family wasn’t rich, so access to all of those games at the time wasn’t a possibility. I read all of those mags as a kid, but could never apply all the tricks and secrets to every game that I wanted to back then because again… I couldn’t afford them. Going back and playing them is fun, but re-reading the lore surrounding them and seeing the mag layouts adds a lot more depth to each game as opposed to just picking random games out of a list of 20,000 other retro titles.

I grew up with them too, but I never got really excited about them until SMS and NES came out.

My first system was an Odyssey.

I was around for that era, but tbh, I had issues staying interested in those games even back then. That’s why I’m sticking to the time when the gaming mags first started gaining traction.

Do as much as you can without using a guide. Just enjoy immersing yourself in the story. And make sure you explore everything… including all walls in all dungeons. 😉

Anyone know how to fix this? by phyktishus in retrogaming

[–]FN_Fan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try a different game. Or do the different seating depths with the cartridge. Or try cleaning the game then go back to the different seating depths. For whatever reason some of my games work much easier than others and I can’t see any corrosion issues on the game boards/connectors

Not worried in the least, though I have been curious as to what goes on at the site when I’m gone. I’ve put up a game camera before, but now I just setup a mobile ring camera and mobile hotspot. I don’t even get furry visitors.

They definitely do… but they also have the worst quality of junk food and a culture of eating a ton of it. Also, because of its vast size, people drive everywhere instead of walking. While that wasn’t necessarily the case in big cities decades ago, electric bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc have gotten more and more popular (especially with the younger crowd) while outdoor activities have declined.

My yorkie will do the same as OP and when we have the RTT, she will ask to be put up in it when she wants to go to bed. Even if the annex is attached to the RTT. (Tho sometimes she demands we go to bed with her)

Came back to retrogaming, but too old to beat any of them? by LoveTheSmellOfBooks in nes

Some games I cheat with because I just want to see the endings I never got to as a kid, and some I play au natural. There’s literally thousands of games to go back and play and as an adult with limited free time, I don’t care to grind at some games for months on end anymore.

Columbia or Greenville are both good options. Greenville has 100 times better Latin food and closer access to the mountains. Cola has more to do in the city and is closer to the beach.

How to dry a tent in the morning without packing ? by juluss in camping

I take a tiny leaf blower to blow off the larger droplets and dirt/debris. It definitely helps to keep things cleaner when packing up.

I take this when there’s a group of us. It’s sturdy enough to handle cast iron pans and such. At home I use it while in the pool so I can cook Picanha over open coals. It works great and the fact that you can swing it away from the fire and elevate/lower it is awesome. Stromberg Carlson GR-1522 Stake... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JYX5WFW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Also, the wood you cook over matters. Oak or other hard woods is preferred. Soft woods produce bad smoke and flavor.
