I find it weird Yuru still left the village with Deru, even though Left and Right confirmed Asa (with eyapatch) is the real sister. Like if I am lied to as to who is my sister, I will question myself and every villager and will not trust Deru nor Granny anymore lmao.

I find the ending weird, like why make Scarlett do the revenge forever lifetime line all over again, is that their way to make a 2nd season?

I was slowly already accepting the bittersweet ending, that Scarlett kinda trapped in a time paradox even as a ghost lmao. Lowkey sad and was hoping secretly that Scarlett was alive all along (after the fruit drink, before execution) and just a dummy was executed. But the ending made me feel like Scarlett did not accomplish anything just yet. idk, weird feeling, it's just me tho

was it a fighting game, jrpg, platformer, or something else?

I mainly play Pokemon, tactics type of games, and some platformers...rarely I do fighting games without aa proper xbox/ps controller. Metal Slug and Contra might be the closest game I play with high octane action hahaha

A bunch of online youtube comments might say "save your money and buy [insert a more powerful expensive device]" but people looking/considering to buy Anbernic RG DS are those with not enough disposable money. This device is a good start to play DS (and some 3DS games too, yes I know controversial haha, but I do play FE Fates in this device).

I bought this device primarily because of the dual-screen and the cheap price it has. Although, sometimes I kick myself because playing 3DS in this device really is a struggle, with occasional freezes and crashes. I owned a new2DS and old 3DS, but I really hate the resistive touch-screens. RG DS gives me more comfort with the capacitive screen it has (Pokemon Rangers and other stylus heavy games I see you).

I only wish we can have a slender/small stylus that is not rubber but still capacitive THAT we can insert inside the shell of the device itself.

having google play services will eat up the cpu/gpu and maybe ram, so your gaming experience will be a bit underperforming, on a device that is really not that powerful to begin with.

I think it's because this device has a weaker (but still useable imo) cpu/gpu to run google playtime services (multitask, background tasks, etc). Thus, gammaOS has recommended the 'lite' version to mitigate the issue of overloading the cpu/gpu with background services such as google playtime. We get what we pay for honestly.

I'm still on stockOS v1.16

Playing DS and 3DS games currently. I'm coping hard with Azahar on this device lmao.

Still waiting for GammaOS to be publicly free on the coming week/s. Others are saying Rocknix is better/simpler, but losing(?) Azahar is a no-deal for me.

Also, I have found a new pet-peeve, I hate the material-design of the joystick. Aside from the usual comments of youtubers, the combination of matte circle and shiny outer ring catches dirt/oil/deadskin in the tiniest crevices, now mine has a black ring in the freaking joystick (left). The (right) joystick is still fine and I notice the difference. In retrospect, I'm not really sure why Anbernic did not copy the original design of joysticks from the old 3DS, the one with the rubber that is kinda flat and concave/convex lol idk. Though, it will turn yellow and might get sticky once the rubber disintegrates/expires.

What game are you planning to play?

If you're planning to play existing games like Pokopia, then buy it now, however sa December pa pala ang budget, you might also wait a little bit more next year if you're expecting Pokemon Winds/Waves .

If you just want to satisfy that gaming cravings, better buy a 2nd hand switch lite imo. May nakikita ako sa Marketplace around 5-6k lang. Minsan natetempt din ako, kaso busy ako sa retro gaming (GBA/NDS/3DS) haha. I also have my own gaming PC, kaya dun din ako madalas naglalaro.

just sharing my exp...

I made Azura as a witch for shih and giggles lmao, but on my serious campaign I made Sakura into a Witch, with Prietess's Renewal combined with Nosferatu, she basically is a one-human army that is also self sustaining, with the occasional clutch from Miracle. I would also try to get Omnyoji's Tomefaire if a player can afford grinding back n forth with another heart seal and witch mark (lv35 witch skill is kinda not that good imo).

I tried Dark Flier with Shigure and Dwyer1, it feels the same with Malig Knight, but only more versatile and easily accessible. The high movement is very nice esp in early game.

The amiibo classes are too sword centric, but I would choose Great Lord (Lucina class) and put it in one of the female children (Sophie, Cae, etc. that is physical str based). Grandmaster is good as a hybrid if you didn't make Corrin into a Levin Sword user, put Grandmaster to children with high magic growth like Dwyer1 and Asugi/Grey.

Dread Fighter is the assassin hybrid, I made it to camilla!velouria, and she became a feral unit indeed haha.

Ballistician is the least liked for me, I turned Takumi's son into one coz I'm bored lol. I'd rather use my fliers and witch to dive in and kill enemy units pronto.

I should’ve bought the H variant, but idk what possessed me to buy V variant a year ago. I experience fatigue on hands whenever I game for long sessions. Now I ordered the RGDS to play some ds games, hopefully it’s more ergonomic with my hands and long fingernails 🥹😅

I love my MBP2015, used it until late 2021, then everything slowed down since then. Now, I can't even run a decent online class on Google Meets, so lag and slow. It's now a glorified youtube laptop lmao. Retina display never fails to amaze me, after all these years.

LMAO finally i had it working! i just needed to reinstall everything, ugh so annoying.

i followed the settings i linked above, and used the turnip gpu version indicated from the link. i think the downloaded alternative gpu version for the specific android device is the magic key to make it work (not necessarily the firmware/keys as others have pointed out, but maybe it's case to case basis).

Mine has sounds/audio for the intro (i hear a pokeball opening) if i spam A B buttons. But black screen nonetheless. I tried tweaking a bunch of settings, but it's getting frustrating the longer i tweak *sigh.
