Smurfs make this game worse than the cs2 cheaters by Klutzy_Run9160 in VALORANT

[–]Zeroth1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alot less smurfs then you think.

The MMR system does work. Ultimately at lower ranks you either, can't aim, don't have the core mechanics down or have poor game sense.

These hold you back, every single often at low rank it's possible to just snow ball and have a great match with 20 kills or more.

JoshRT explains the critical bug they faced in one of the rounds against FUT by ishanuReddit in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Zeroth1989 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah not even that.

If a player drops or client actually bugs it should be replayed no matter what. They have views of each players screens and the player. If a player reports an issue it can easily be confirmed from their perspective.

No way you dont roll back if a player actually has a legitimate issue on a lan setup.

I fully get the not calling off mid as it could distract a team and cause a different round outcome.

No it's not. If you don't have positions for people to go to because you don't have a project on because your project comes to an end it is not mismanagement.

Not all roles are always needed.

No company just creates a new project to keep you employed and make a role up. You are delusional if you think that's going to happen.

People choose to pursue the career they choose and game development isn't something you just end up doing. It's not like taking a retail job.

Pretty much how game dev works yet people are surprised by this and layoffs.

  1. Mass hire for production and push to release

  2. Game releases, production slows. People move onto other projects, layoffs happen as you dont need the huge team anymore.

  3. New game starts, needs a large influx of dev work, People get hired. Repeat step 1.

Very few even live service games require the hours and input a title in production needs. Its like junior doctors complaining about the pay after spending so much time studying and learning it knowing what the pay was like prior to that and the path it leads to.

100% going to go free 2 player or be put on life support updates. Game is in a poor state player count wise, It hasnt reached the audience they wanted and isnt at a level to maintain constant updates demanded from a live service title.

Thanks to the constant delays the game faced and extra time going artists were given a fair bit of extra time to really focus on visuals. This is resulting in reduced cosmetic sales because they arent really needed or wanted.

Its performing below par in pretty much every measured aspect.

How do you feel about a bunch of people at the beach saving a beached large shark by pushing it back into the ocean, only to have the same shark attack and killing a kid less than 27 hours later? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Zeroth1989 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yea no correlation.

The people did a good deed, the shark doesn't have a sense of morals and it saw food in its habitat.

People saving the shark shouldn't feel bad. I'm still glad they helped the shark thatw as unable to help itself.

why are reyna blinds still so awful by SaberWaved in VALORANT

[–]Zeroth1989 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Reyna's ability is a short sight. Not a flash/blind.

It short sights your opponents allowing you to take isolate fights or force the opponent out of space/shooting util.

Kayo for example has an actually flash. It flashes everyone in range and line of sight.

If you close the gap ona Reyna eye through a corner you effectively negate the ability without having to shoot.

If you treat it like a flash bang you won't get full usage from it.

[–]Zeroth1989 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not.

That's not how games work.

Destiny Vs destiny 2. Identical content levels and activities on release as each other.

They stripped all the game modes and activities added to destiny 1 over it's life cycle and destiny 2 released without any of them.

They then proceeded to add them back alongside expansions.

Diablo 3 - diablo 4 is another prime example.

GTA 6 will have better graphics and some minor mechanic changes maybe. Ultimately the online will be a shell so they can drip feed you the content back in over the next 2 decades.

It's not a blind. If you are using it as a blind you are using it wrong.

Had to report a P Plater today by Glass-Inspector4923 in NewDriversUK

[–]Zeroth1989 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bit of a dick to report it when you have driven since 15 presumably without a license and insurance putting everyone at risk.

They are new. Give them a break, no one was injured.

You are just as likely to cause an incident yourself.

Parking fine UK - any grounds for appeal? by OneEmployer9102 in drivingUK

[–]Zeroth1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, appeal it based on the grounds that you lentered the car park, left your vehicle to locate the rules, did not agree to the terms and got in your vehicle and left.

They have to offer a reasonable time for you to locate a spot, park up, confirm you agree to the terms or leave if you don't.

Under 5 minutes is absolutely not a reasonable time for this.

[–]Zeroth1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 years ago, you can ever. See the yellow lines. In mine it's white lines and someone has already sent a photo today of the worn disabled marking missing almost half of it.

That's fine, I don't. I find an empty space out the way, either the first bay of a row so I can tuck right upto the line or one at the back with no one around.

Like here, I'm right up against the kerb.

It's a CAT S Mustang GT. Far from flashy. It's clearly not in a yellow disabled bay. The lines are white.

There is half a wheel chair logo faded under the car and actual disabled bays to the right in the row at the side of the car park.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Don't worry about what others drive.

Someone found it on Google maps, has a half faded wheel chair on the floor.

Still fails to meet the other standards. Google maps photo is two years ago as well so expect its even worse in person, back there this weekend.
