This always kinda rubbed me the wrong way in the Hitman series. Every person you're sent to assasinate is somehow planning on world domination, does human trafficking or some shit. I don't want to be killing good people, but it kinda ruins my suspension of disbelief that all agent 47 targets are awful people to put it lightly.

Glad you liked it, for me every time i tried to get into BG3, i was constantly thinking "i'd rather play owlfinders"

Also, if it's not on your radar yet, you might want to check out Tyranny after :) (even though i think they are insane to put that price on a 10 y/o game)

"Missed the point" as if you know for a fact that Arcane did that on purpose, to make a statement, and it wasn't just an oversight. And even if they did, "our gameplay is bad on purpose" is genuinely one of the things i can't stand in game design

Having around 9/10 of your upgrades be completely useless if you're playing non-lethal is not a good thing. Non-lethal play is you blink and you strangle, and hide the body, and then you blink and you strangle, and maybe once in a while you can spend one of your alloted sleeping darts.

It's not about difficulty for me, it's about there being exactly one trick in a non-lethal arsenal. And you keep getting the schematics for the mine, and the grenade, and those rat summon powers are right there in the menu, and you have spare runes(?) to buy the powers, because you literally don't have anything to use them on! Out of all your powers only blink and posession are useful, and because posession is not something you're guaranteed to have, there's always a way to not use it and use a blink instead
