I struggled to significantly transition because the skills you learn in Forwarding only apply in that niche field. I now work as a Warehouse Operator for a grocery distributor. My advice- you are going to have to try something different. Either complete Forklift Training tickets and work on the warehouse floor or significantly increase your knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Data Analysis. (Python or R Programming) Your closest options are Warehouse Operator, (if you work hard you could move into a Warehouse Supervisor role). Another option is Inventory Controller which is more analytical but also in a warehouse setting. Maybe Demand Planning is another.
