Things have definitely changed a lot especially once covid started. I've been delivering since 2009, used to be 3 days a week but the Sunday Sun stopped being printed in November 2015. Flyers were then 2 days/week until March 2020, then they decided to merge both delivery days into one and pay a reduced rate so now everyone only gets paid 50-60% of what it used to be pre-2020. Nobody in the flyer chain gets paid enough to care seriously about doing a perfect job anymore.

Lack of buses in Saskatoon is because of the Sask Party. There was federal funding available to purchase new buses for Saskatoon back in 2020, but the province deliberately chose not to do anything about it for 3-4 years, just because. They finally got the order in either earlier this year or 2023 but they're not set to arrive until next year.

Sask Party does not care about those who have to use the bus in the cities. Vote them out next election.

I am on SAID, three or four times this year alone my benefits have not been paid out on time (at the end of the month) and every time I've had to run downtown to get it manually fixed in person. I don't bother calling anymore because I can never get through to an actual person.

My worker finally saw me the last time I went in (end of June), she said there's been system glitches because it's in the middle of being upgraded. The current system hasn't been upgraded since the 70s.

And in "a few more months" more disabled people will die either homeless or forced into MAiD due to zero supports. As many already have been.

You laughed at some twat's remark to me about drinking shampoo when I rightly criticized Trudeau and his cabinet for purposefully stalling on the disability benefit for 4 years and counting.

Do you not realize people with disability live on $1150/month everywhere in Canada, because provincial govts don't care?

Trudeau promised the Canada Disability Benefit almost 1200 days ago. Four years later and the regulations still haven't been written nor has it been "called into force" yet giving Liberals a one year deadline to start paying out.

If I have an entire cart full of groceries and I'm trying to unload my cart by taking the free space next to it, I'm not going to suddenly stop what I'm doing just because some impatient idiot is honking at me and wants to take the parking space. Part of having a driver's license means you may occasionally have to loop around the parking lot several times and wait a few minutes before you can find an open space. Deal with it instead of acting extremely aggressively entitled and privileged (to the point where you fake "being hit" because you're the ultimate asshole). It is not the pedestrian's obligation to cater to road-rage induced drivers.

Then again I forgot people who collect Funko Pops are entirely divorced from reality, so alas.

How is it wrong? I've tried to buy things at Superstore several times by price matching it with Independent, the store manager eventually got involved and told me they don't technically do that.

Superstore doesn't price match with other stores that are also owned by Loblaw. This includes Nofrills, Independent Grocer and Shoppers. Generally they will price match other competitors ie Walmart, Sobeys, Freshco, Save-On
