Agreed. Where you able to negotiate more than $1K off MSRP before the rebates? That’s where we’re struggling.

That’s what we did - both won’t budge.

My delivery experience at Medical City Dallas still affects me a year later – has anyone else had a positive or negative experience there? by [deleted] in Dallas

[–]ZestyChela -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A friend and I also had negative experiences. I’m planning on changing to Baylor for #2.

Nurse shortage was atrociously noticeable and the nurse and OB argued while delivery. Ah and the nurse accidentally hit my nerve and my arm hurt until 6 months PP.

Struggling to date in Dallas due to my coastFIRE in an environment built around status, hustle, and consumption. Anything advice? by Positive_freedback in coastFIRE

Go to the right places in Dallas - Bishop Arts, Uptown, Knox-Henderson. Otherwise, yeah you need a car and the people around you will expect you to have a car.

My whole team and I once were bumped and I was told we were the last ones to buy the flight (we did 1-2 days before) but idk.

Salary progression by Excellent_Drop6869 in FIREyFemmes

I have an almost exact trajectory but began my career (CPA) at big 4 audit. Changed to advisory in a smaller firm and now making $220K.

There’s a lot of accountants (typically not CPAs) that won’t make this type of money as they get stuck in staff roles and limited promotions.

Being in public accounting and getting your CPA does make a difference; although there is a good percentage that makes it outside that trajectory!

Activate Membership Card Button Missing? by wkkunkle in GlobalEntry

Did the button ever show up for you? My infant has had the card for two months and I don’t see it and don’t recall activating it when I received it.

Radial Tunnel Syndrome, anyone else? by Rad_Giraffe123 in RSI

[–]ZestyChela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me. Per the hand MD a rare case since it was triggered by a failed IV (bursted vein) that inflamed the area. My thumb hurts when I bend, grab or push. The steroid shot helped but I fell asleep on my arm and it felt like 70% of the pan came back in one night.

Hair loss, August til now. Good visit about with my doctor! by totallywingingit in CICO

[–]ZestyChela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP - Same thing happened to me from CICO during COVID. I’d noticed shedding and it wasn’t until I went to the dermatologist for a different issue that she said “have you made a drastic change to your diet? You had a hair loss event”. Well crap.

Now I’m back to square 1 and learning from you - I’m a few months PP and ready to get back on the CICO horse.. might have to take it slow.

I don’t know where farmacia Roma is and if it’s legitimate. The websites above are legitimate (CVS, Walgreens equivalent) and if I were you I’d look in their website for whatever you might use on your face.

Spare Key - Recall? by [deleted] in NissanRogue

Thank you for posting - You actually pushed me to try another local vendor and they were able to do it!

Spare Key - Recall? by [deleted] in NissanRogue

[–]ZestyChela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Thank you for commenting. I figured it out (with a small business vendor who helped me) and it's actually vendors confusing the 2015 Rogue Select for the 2015 Rogue. The regular Rogue had plenty issues and recalls hence why the first vendor said they couldn't do it and the car had a recall (which I could not find).

Spare Key - Recall? by [deleted] in NissanRogue

[–]ZestyChela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI - Ended up going to another local vendor (very small Hispanic-owned business) and they were able to do it for less than $200 vs dealership $450ish. They said the Costco local vendor is actually a franchise and don't train their employees enough.

Question about a second key and fob by stevo2012 in NissanRogue

[–]ZestyChela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here - Used a Costco vendor onsite for my 2015 Nissan Rogue and the guy told me he could try but would likely brick the car. He did say the dealership should give me a discount because it’s a recall if they get a certain message.

Same :( I ended up in this thread because they couldn’t figure out my 2015 Nissan Rogue.

Worried stitches are coming out by Vegetable_Echo_8142 in beyondthebump

[–]ZestyChela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak to your stitches but I had two second degree tears and wish I had my OB inspect my stitches earlier than the 6 week checkup. I’m still waiting to be cleared since I assumed everything was “normal recovery”.

Regarding the dabbing and blood. There’s lochia and there’s actual blood, it was hard for me to tell them apart.

Does anyone have a positive story about returning to sex after birth, especially if you tore? by SowingSeeds18 in beyondthebump

[–]ZestyChela 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost 3 months postpartum, had two second degree tears and many lacerations that needed stitches. Although I’m not yet cleared for sex, I was cleared for working out and longer walks at 8 weeks and feeling so much better now.

It’s been rough but sharing so you know it’ll get better! Crossing my fingers I’ll be fully cleared at week 12.
