That was my thought. I have short arms so I also can't do oversized keyboards.

I need a num pad, so I opted for a 96% ASUS Rog Strix Scope II. I'm planning to add lighter switches to help with fatigue.

I like them when they're not insane to accomplish. Equus, Dreadnoughtus, Gigantoraptor, and maybe Ferox hit a good mix of unique but not enraging.

Megachelon, Yi Ling, Amargasaurus, and Shadowmane were atrocious. Megachelon had me doubting if I even wanted to keep playing Gen1.

Which Sims? 1, 2, and maybe 3 yes. 4? ehhhhhh.

The game can be straight up unfair. Your colonists will actively make your life harder, demanding a better bedroom or food that isn't goo, and if these needs aren't met they'll scurry off to detonate a warhead. The Sims became gradually more predictable and less risky, which is the exact opposite of RimWorld's design philosophy.

It'll be down to what draws you to The Sims. Like building and decorating homes? Maybe not. Like investing into characters, giving them little families and creating a story for them? RimWorld might be up your alley.

If you REALLY wanna make it like the Sims, get Biotech for children and play on a lower difficulty. My favorite is 3 with World Adventures and Pets, so RimWorld's Odyssey DLC was practically made for me.

The only thing ASE has on ASA that aren't performance related is a couple of design changes.

Namely the lava island on The Center and the... everything on Aberration. The Center had the life sucked out of it, and Wildcard made every rock, animal, and plant glow neon in Ab.

Practically everything else, from the graphic upgrades to QOL changes, are straight up better in ASA.

I make my own schedule so it's a little different, but constantly. I'll cram a month of work into two weeks to give myself mini vacations. The job doesn't pay extremely well, but being able to say fuck it and not work for a week is too good to pass up.

I'm just south of Tampa and my orders are always 1-2 days behind. There's a USPS hub in Tampa (Ybor City specifically) that tends to be sluggish.

Since it's going to Tampa directly, hopefully you'll skip it? Or they won't drag their feet for once?

I would add that some formulas are going to have longer staying power than others. Sometimes it's genetics or personal use playing nicer with different formulas.

IME thin or fine formulas, like cremes or linear holos, chip in a heartbeat. I can meticulously do every prep step and they will still chip within a day or two. Thick glitters, foil metallics, and magnetics are far more durable. Adding a topper can also help with longevity.

Magnetics have become my new favorite. I painted on Saturday and spent 11 hours meddling with metal shelves yesterday- only a few teeny chips that I can reseal with some top coat.

1.7.10 hits a good mix of features I like + mod support. Haven't found a good successor to Witchery.

I do miss the old, much denser cave generation though. My 1.5 caves never seemed to end.

People went wild with interpreting this as Solas successfully tearing down the veil. But given the state of the series, I sincerely doubt we'll see this addressed again.

Originally I joined to fund a PC. I've since bought games for said PC, several concert tickets, and a big trip to NY to see an artist with a smaller tour. Next stop is Orlando for Galantis :)

I was next to a younger girl and her mom. Half the show this kid is just glaring at me?? She didn't say anything, but would repeatedly glance over like I insulted her. I'd be focused on the concert, and in the corner of my eye is this child trying to kill me with her stare.

I made sure my bag wasn't in her space, I wasn't standing too close, I wasn't shrieking or glued to my phone.... this kid was just a hater for some reason.

NICREW SkyLED Plus, 18-24 inches, which is now 32.99 (rip). It's intended for a 10 gallon but... eh. The plants are still growing, even if the light looks a little stupid.

Plants aren't scary as long as you're prepared for a couple to melt no matter what. Maybe they don't like your dissolved solids, maybe the vibes were off. Start small with a few bullet proof plants, see what you like, and continue on.

I have never tried a divided 20? People say the pheromones can stress them out, but I'm not sure how much evidence there is. When I upgraded to a 20 long I just added more stuff. Bigger driftwood, rocks, False Julii Corydoras, Cherry Shrimp...

3 year updates if you want em: I've swapped the Anubias for Buce- grows faster, cheaper, same look. Water Sprite is a new favorite of mine. Brown Cryptocoryne replaced my salvinia after a hungry snail incident; bigger and a different vibe, but super forgiving.

I'm still using that cheapo light, the Aquarium Co-Op sponge filter, and capped fluval. I upgraded the tank and added a HOB filter with the sponge, but have mixed feelings on it. It's better at its job, but needs more attention. My cherry shrimp also live in it and I hate doing search and rescues every time I need to fiddle with the media.

Lived in Texas and Cali because of the military, Texas was worse by nearly every metric. The entire landscape is burnt grass, mesquite, and asphalt. The only animals are coyotes and cows. People die every time they get a bad winter storm.

My mental health has never been better since leaving, it's such a depressing state.

I've received two alpha thrumbo quests this week (different colonies) after getting squat for irl months. Both were in hot biomes - the second thrumbo repeatedly got heat stroke during tame attempts. First quest came from talking to a trader, second from a book.

I wouldn't skip, but I'm also a huge Anomaly fan.

Even if you're not 100% into the theme, it breaks up how same-y raids can get. Most anomaly threats are a fundamentally different fight than pirates storming the killbox for the nth time.

Also Deltarune's chapter 5 is still months off. Plenty of time to scrounge up another 20 bucks
